Moonlight Cottage is located on Main. Just a minutes walk to anywhere in Lava

This peaceful cottage is perfect for any type of getaway. A family vacation, a romantic retreat, or maybe after this tough year, you just need time to let loose and enjoy.

The home comes with three private bedrooms. All equipped with a queen size bed and fresh linens. There are two rollaway beds in the front bedroom closet. The bathroom is a perfect fit for the home with a newly added aromatherapy showerhead. Additionally, the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to create meals. More chairs are in the bedroom closets. Back in the mud room, I hope you will enjoy the convenience of the new washer and dryer.

At the end of the day, you will be able to get cozy in the family room. Cuddled up on the large sofa, in front of the fire place and enjoy a movie.

During your visit, please feel free to enjoy the tv that has Netflix on it, complimentary WIFI, board games and fresh ground coffee.

The cottage is a charming older home and it was nice to have 3 bedrooms. It was great to have towels for the mineral baths and outside seating...even though it rained most of the time and we didn't get to use it. The host was great to respond to our requests, especially since he was out of the country.

We had so much fun in Lava Hot Springs and at the Moonlight Cottage that my kids did not want to leave. The property has clean rooms. Spacious enough to accommodate 6 of us that stayed there. Shops and hot springs are walking distance.

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. When we arrived early to town the host was very responsive and we were able to check in early. We were pleasantly surprised of the layout and the great location. Close walking distance to hot springs, restaurants and shops.The place was well stocked, however we did not find coffee as expressed in the description, although not a big deal. The Bathroom was decorated cute and clean.Bedrooms cozy and comfortable mattresses.We plan to return for additional fights. Thank you and cannot wait!

Great location and communication from the owner. Cute home. It didn’t feel clean. We found hairballs, small toys, and trash on the carpet and seating area outside. The shower floorboards are not secured so they move as you step around. The mattress cover was very stained with lipstick or something, there was jelly on the glass door. We just felt icky and opted to leave after one of two nights.

Lava Hot Springs: Charm and Flaws

The 2 front and 2 back porch cameras are somewhat understandable, though very curious to see when you initially walk up. That was my first thought, anyways. The cottage is adorable and though it matches the rest of Lava(a little rundown), it has a charm to it that our friends loved and we definitely enjoyed during our stay. The shower was a nice upgrade and was tall enough for me to use(I'm 6'4"), so that was a plus! There were a few minor inconveniences about staying there(same with any place) but overall, we had a blast and will probably bring the kids back this summer!

This must be the Place

Great location for Lava. Close enough to walk to everything yet quiet. House was very clean and cozy. Plenty of outside/deck room to mingle and relax. Everything you would need in the kitchen. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect location.

Traveling to Idaho/Utah for girls trip. This fit the bill
 walkable to everything in town. All beds were comfortable.House very well-stocked.Wish we would have longer to enjoy the area.

House was a great location to the hot springs. The beds were super comfortable. We weren’t able to use the porches because it was 11 degrees but they looked very inviting. Perfect place for us!

Super cute

Adorable house that had just about everything we needed for our weekend stay in Lava. We had an issue with the wifi upon arriving that Taylor walked me through troubleshooting and we had it fixed quickly. Would definitely stay here again but would love if blinds/curtains were added to the room next to the kitchen.
