Newly renovated and completely redecorated from the floors and paint to the lovely furnishings and amenities, Blue Heron is ready to welcome your family to the perfect place for your beach vacation. Just a five-minute walk to Gulf Place Town Center, this townhouse has a community pool, easy access to the beach, restaurants, an ice cream and cafe parlor, boutiques, art galleries, tennis courts, kids activities, and an outdoor amphitheater. Gulf Place Courtyard is adjacent to the Scenic 30A bike and walking trail.

Beautiful Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We made a last minute reservation at Blue Heron for a few days recently. The location was perfect for us as it was next door to our daughter's home. The beach is very close. We didn't use the pool area but it looked beautiful. Blue Heron is very nicely furnished. It's bright and open and very comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. It was exceptionally clean. It was only my husband and I but it would be great for a family. I couldn't help but be amazed at the kitchen furnishings. Anything you could possibly need to cook with is there. And plenty of it! Lots of dinnerware and glassware. I actually fell in love with one pan and had to buy one for myself as soon as I got home. If you're there for vacation the walk to the beach is very short. We cooked at home so I have no recommendations for restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. The only improvement I would recommend is to replace the dishwasher. It worked, but it's very old and is not configured to hold a lot of dishes. The other appliances look very new so a bright new dishwasher would fit right in!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was great. The location was the best, an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. You are right in the middle of everything but the condo itself is secluded enough that you didn't feel like you were. Was very clean but could use a little updating. The only real complaint I would have is that the beds were very hard and not comfortable and there was no grill. Other than that was great. I Would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone else.

Beautiful home but hot

We decided to take a short vacation to Florida. We were able to book the Blue Heroin. Can I say the property was beautiful and the online pictures does not really showcase this beauty. It is within walking distance to the beach and foods. It gives access to the community pool. The only downside was that the AC unit went out during our first night of arrival. Management did respond but unfortunately the part was not available. We did receive portable units on our last night of stay but it was still hot. Overall a good. property.

Well appointed, nice location

Very well appointed end unit townhome, a 5-minute walk to the beach, and restaurants with nice tennis courts and a nice unheated pool. Description a bit misleading in that the 3rd "bedroom" was a loft without a door and both full bathrooms had to be accessed via one of the other bedrooms. Turned out to be fine for our teens who could sleep through the noise and don't need to use the bathroom at night, but still a bit less privacy than we expected. Home was very well appointed in the kitchen, with lots of books and games for rainy days (not that we needed them).

Lovely location, We’ll be back

We have stayed many times in Gulf Place in different rentals depending on the size of our party and Blue Heron was a hit. The spacious gathering space made eating together for 11 easy and the highly equipped kitchen made cooking most meals in the time of Covid a breeze. The walkability of the area between beach and restaurants was my favorite. We had a problem with the internet for the first few days and a disappointing response at first from the Dune-Allen realty but everything was worked out and all future issues were quickly addressed. Definitely a winner.

Convenient location within walking distance of beach, shopping, restaurants....quiet street Needs a few tweaks to make the place better...some slight upgrades and some tlc such as....Master bedroom door wouldnt close without force. TV's were old and way too small for living room and master bedroom....looked like 36 inch tv's No grill of any sort No keurig...
