Serene Getaway

The host was very accommodating throughout the stay. Closely located to the vibrant downtown area of St. Petersburg, so plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. Also the kitchen had everything needed for the night I decided to make a home cooked meal. Will recommend to family and friends

Long weekend getaway

Perfect getaway for two! Close to downtown but far enough away that it’s quiet in the evenings. Elaine was always reachable if we had any questions or needed local recommendations on what to do/ where to eat!

Our Florida Winter Escape

The property was very comfortable and private with a nice enclosed back patio area. The studio apartment was nicely equipped and very clean. Our host was very accommodating, helpful and available. It was a great winter getaway.

5 night get away

Really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the other tenants were very nice. It was a great place to stay with our dog. It was also really convenient having a kitchen in the rental. The host, Elaine, was very easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions.

Nice Place, Close to Everything I Needed

Well kept property, especially in light of recent hurricanes. House was immaculate, had everything I needed. Onsite washer/dryer was a big plus since I stayed 15 days. Quiet neighborhood, courtyard was nice in the fall with a beautiful breeze most nights. Host was wonderful, could reach her when I needed to.

Perfect for couples

My girlfriend and I were in town to visit some friends and found this little gem to stay at. It was everything I expected and then some. It has a perfect location just a couple minutes from downtown and has everything you need. The host is incredible, she answers right away, and is incredibly nice and personable. I will be staying here every time I come to St. Pete.

Outstanding Experience

Elaine is outstanding and very accommodating. She obliged my request for an early check in and she is a delight. The accomodations are second to none. The location is in a perfect centralized location near my office downtown with many amenities. It is pet friendly for our furry four legged friends. My dachsund had a blast and even visited a doggy park. I would recommend this place to any looking for a wonderful vacation or business trip. Brian Walker

Between the storms

I cannot give reslistic evaluation because of the severely unusual circumstances. We checked in after our house was made inhabitable by a hurricane. The unit was clean and attractive. We had to check out early because another hurricane was coming and we were in an evacuation zone. Communication with property owner was limited by her having to deal with damages at other properties

Guest house

We asssumed the owners lived in the main house. No, first people there were very nice. However Friday we got new people. They rolled in after 11pm, that would have been fine however they decided to stay up and party in the courtyard till 5 am, happened again on Saturday. Sunday wasn’t as bad. Came in late but didn’t party in the courtyard.

Clean, Neat, Pet Friendly but a couple of small downers

Owner is friendly and responsive. Great location in St. Petersburg. Room was clean, neat and all linens were supplied and were clean. Bath is good, has an ironing board and iron and all the basic kitchen equipment. Two negatives. The ceiling fan was broken, it spun but made a awful scraping sound. The other issue was parking. Our space was quite difficult to maneuver in and out. I would recommend this property because the price is so good and the owner very nice. It is a safe, clean, neat, well located guest room.

Amazing Stay, Elaine was an incredibly accomodating Host!

My little dog and I enjoyed a 5 night stay at this property. We slept so sound every night! Elaine, the host was so pleasant and a joy to interact with. I had a bit of a home emergency repair the day I was supposed to check in. I contacted her to see if I could come a day later and extend my stay an additional day. She was very understanding and went out of her way to help me. The casita was laid out perfectly! Very clean, tastefully decorated, stocked with all the essentials and then some. It felt spacious and welcoming. It really felt like home. My Dog is usually uneasy the first couple of nights in new surroundings but He was as happy and relaxed as he is at home! The location is perfect. It is close to nice parks, stores and a short drive to downtown or the beach. I give this property and Elaine a 5 star rating and will definitely be a return guest! Trim and Tidy Guest House

I’m a local who needed a place to work and sleep for a few days while my house was undergoing repairs. This guest house is a good value and is very convenient to shopping and to downtown St. Pete. It was extremely clean, tastefully decorated and well appointed with towels, blankets and cooking & dining implements. There is access to a garage, allowing guests some extra storage space and use of laundry machines, and there is safe, off the street parking. The property owner, Elaine, is very friendly and locally knowledgeable and above all, rapidly responsive to any concerns. The only issue that I had during my stay is that I am one of those weird people who need it to be ice cold to sleep. After I let Elaine know about the air conditioning situation, she immediately sent a technician to look at the unit and make some adjustments. While this didn’t perfectly address the situation for me, I must admit that the issue is likely unique to me – as a potential guest, you may be quite fine with the air conditioning as it is. This would be the only qualification I would place on my recommendation, because everything else about the guest house was ideal.

Not as advertised .

This property is on a noisy street. It is loud. The shared courtyard is run down and hot tub is broken. “Main house” that shares the courtyard is 4 feet away. There is No PRIVACY. I mentioned this to the owner at check in and she did nothing to address the situation . It was also listed as a 2 bathroom, but there was only one bathroom. Lastly, the “queen bed” was a double bed. Terrible.
