Grand Caribbean East 414 is nestled in Perdido Key, FL, just steps away from the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Overlooking the pool and Gulf of Mexico, this home away from home is beautifully decorated and features brightly colored beach decor will make you feel happy as you enjoy all the comforts of home. The bunk beds recessed in the hallway offer additional sleeping space and are only suited for children. The updated kitchen is well-equipped for cooking your favorite meals. Relax on the patio overlooking the pool or take a short walk through the pool area to the private boardwalk that extends directly to the white, sandy beaches of Perdido Key.

Grand Caribbean is the perfect place to bring your family on your next vacation! This is one of the few condominiums on Perdido Key that is not a high-rise. This is a quaint four-story building that is not overcrowded, and there are no busy streets to cross to get to the beach. Gulf Islands National Seashore is just a half a mile away, with miles of unspoiled beaches where you can search for shells or watch for wildlife. Nearby are other favorite spots for visitors such as the Naval Aviation Museum where you can catch the practice session flights of the Blue Angels.

Great place!

Clean apartment, has everything you need, had a family vacation, everyone liked everything. from the balcony you can see a piece of the ocean, you can always understand if there are waves or not! 3 minutes to the beach, very convenient and simple.

Perfect spot for a beach getaway!

The room was beautiful and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. The view from the balcony was perfect. We could hear the waves and enjoyed the view using the comfortable chairs. The walk to the beach was much shorter than we expected. The beach itself was perfect and not too crowded. Nice, quiet hidden gem! We hope to be back soon!

Condo was nice and the space was as advertised. My one small complaint is that the wifi information we were provided was not accurate so we had no access to WiFi. I contacted guest services and they just resent the same incorrect info again. My communication with them ended when they sent me the service providers number. I didn't even attempt to call the service provider because as a short term renter, they would not have even spoken to me.

Great area

A good value, room cleaning has room for improvement. Room comfortable, well stocked with kitchen items, plenty of towels. TV had access to cable channels and movies.

Great stay, steps away from the beach!

Loved my time here in the condo. The space was great, and it was so close to the beach. Easy stroll to spend the mornings on the beach then pop up for lunch and be back out on the beach in minutes. Thanks so much!

Great condo at a reasonable price.

The condo was much roomier than the photos showed. The pool was very nice and beach access was easy and not too far for our little ones to walk. The grilling area was a treat for nights we didn’t want to go out or cook indoors. Very family friendly.

Great stay, close to beach and all the fun!

Loved this place and Vacasa were super attentive and even when there was a minor issue, I got to speak with a real, live person! They were awesome. 10/10 would recommend staying here and Vacasa properties.

Great stay except for mattresses

Great condo but need to replace mattresses. Maybe a couple of extra blankets and some plastic wear and measuring cups in kitchen.

Quiet convienient location

Nice 2 bedroom condo within walking distance of the beach. Everything was clean although the paint could use a little touch up. From the balcony you were able to see the pool and a little bit of the beach between other condos. And it has a great view of the sunrise. Only real complaints were the slow internet and not enough remotes to work all of the TV's at the same time. Overall we had a great time and hope to be able to return someday.

Dryer didn’t dry well. Washer ok. Deck doors need replaced. Showers are good.

Short walk to lovely beach. Nice pool. Decor cute & beach themed. Appliances older. Bunk bed sheets were not clean...had sand in them. Not owners fault, but whomever cleans it. Perdidio Keys is a nice place!!

Very dissatisfied

After traveling all day we arrived at the property and could not get in the gate. The phone number on the app is not any good. I Googled a number and called it. They transferred me and then put me on hold. We finally learned from another guest that we should have been given a gate code to gain access to the property. In the meantime no one ever answered the phone. Had it not been for the help of strangers we would have been in a terrible predicament.

A Bad Condo-- look elsewhere!!

SO much bad in this condo!! The beds are rock hard, the lights outside the bedroom windows are so bright you can forget about sleeping (it's like the light is still on) the toaster doesn't work, the air went out and it was 82 degrees in there, there were only 7 chairs around the entire pool, the lights in the hall would randomly flicker on and off, there were no bowls in the cabinets, no paper towels or garbage bags in the kitchen, no laundry soap at all, the bathroom sink didn't drain, the TV IS TERRIBLE (don't think you will spend the evening watching a movie), and the last day we were there the pool was closed because it was not up to state safety standards and was a hazard to people. They promised me they would get back to me about a partial refund-- then never called me back and now won't answer my calls. Do yourself a favor and don't rent this condo.

If you plan to cook or have a large family, read this

The room overall is nice, but not equipped to actually accommodate 6 and definitely not 8. We have stayed in this room 4 times when it was under different management (Wyndham) and our return this year found the changes lacking. The kitchen - is not equipped to cook a meal for 6 people. There are only 7 water glasses and coffee mugs, no small glasses for juice or milk. We had to wash the plates and forks after each meal because there were just barely enough for 1 meal. There were no mixing bowls so I had to mix our pancake batter in a pot and there were no pot holders to get anything out of the oven. The pots and pans also look like they've been there for years. Also, only 2 of the multiple outlets in the kitchen work. Management told us they do inventory in October for the condo and restock after that. So if you stay before inventory you get less than the basics. Not enough forks, glasses, bowls, plates, no mixing bowls, no baking sheet or basic glass 13X9 pan, that sort of thing. But there were at least 9 wine glasses! Our kids drank their milk out of those. (Housekeeping did bring us some mixing bowls, pot holders and forks to get us through our stay.) The bunk beds-the top bunk has a board that has to be secured once you're in the bed and you can't get back out until someone removes the board. To me, that is absolutely ridiculous. The noise level-in the second bedroom there is a constant squeaking noise and at night it's quiet annoying. We left the bathroom fan on to try to drown it out. Also, there is construction on the condo right now which we were not aware of beforehand or we would've booked a different condo. When I say construction I mean two men working on our bedroom window (and chatting) while we were in the bed 5 foot from the window. Additionally, loud construction that woke us up several mornings and it started before the condos posted quiet hours were over. (Before 8am) I had to call management again mid-week when I realized there was no iron. I had seen an ironing board on the first day so I assumed there was an iron but there wasn't. Every hotel I've ever stayed at has an iron so one would think a rental condo would have one, but again, this room was not equipped. They did bring us an iron but we were running late for our photo session by the time we got the iron and I ironed everyone's clothes. An irritating inconvenience. The condo has a nice view, it was clean and there were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets but as a family of 6, we will definitely not stay there again. It would have been obvious to anyone in management or Housekeeping that the kitchen is not equipped and it should have been addressed before our stay. I hope this review is helpful for other large families like ours. Especially knowing the situation with the bunk bed. You could not put a child under the age of 12 in the bunk bed. It's very difficult to get down out of even when the board is out.

Great place but needs some necessities

I would totally give this stay 5 stars if a few things were corrected. We arrived and the unit was very clean and beautifully decorated. The unit needs blankets and kitchen towels and really some black out curtains for the bedrooms especially the room that has a window by the door. The outside light is extremely bright! We had several issues with the refrigerator/freezer with cooling. It never really made any ice while we were there! Also, they were completing some deck maintenance and we could not use the patio for 2 days. They cut the water off the day we were leaving and we were not notified. Thank goodness for the neighbor next door that let us know about 10 minutes before it happened! Then the cleaning crew showed up at 9 when checkout was at 10. And the sad part is…I would totally understand all of that…I called Vacasa to let them know and they assured me that a local manager would contact me by the end of the day! I am still waiting for a phone call! If you say you are going to call…CALL! Again beautiful place…just needs some necessities and better communication!

Received a call to see if I had concerns, I said yes but my list is at the unit, unable to get respo

I would not stay there again. Checked in through text msgs. Lock is on a timer, don't matter if you get there 15 mins early it will only unlock at 4 PM! Its a beach, but the bottom shelf of the coffee table had max sand on it where people had put their feet. Was only able to get a tablet on Wifi, Never could get my laptop or phone on it. No Pot holders, no small plates, no small juice glasses, no broiler pan, Food was found in freezer (had to throw out), no holders for toilet paper nor bath towels, bulb out in second bath, dirty measuring cups and spoons found in top cabinet next to Microwave. Dryer vent over the balcony full of lint (possible fire hazard) and fire nozzles in overhead had no covers around them. I had all this written down when I received a call from Vacasa but didn't have it with me. I tried to contact them through the phone number and also texting that number and received no reply. I left my list in the room for the cleaning person. No I won't be back. There is also work going on at this location with lots of noise throughout the day!

Lovely Condo

The condo is newly remodeled. It has all new appliances. The bathrooms are very nice. The view from the family room is relaxing and beautiful. The condo was very clean too.

Meh

Nice location, short walk to the beach. This condo is very basic. SMALL washer and dryer. At most, it fits 3 bath towels. Also, the dryer konked out the last day of our stay. One of the bedrooms had a weird smell to it and the carpet in both bedrooms looked very dirty and was in need of replacement

Loved our stay

This condo was spacious enough for 4 adults and 4 children. The room was very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. We did not cook but the kitchen seemed to be fully stocked. Everything was in good, working order. The location was perfect, literally a 2-3 min walk and you're right on the beach. Our kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub on site as well. Would definitely recommend to others and consider a future stay here.

Loved the room!

My family and I loved staying here. The room was well decorated and bigger than I thought it was going to be. We are a family of four and had plenty of room. It was a short walk to the beach and pool. The grounds and pool area were very clean. We would definitely consider staying here again!
