## Getting Around

Black Oak Resort is a private lake community with privately owned and maintained roads that are cared for by the community.

IMPORTANT: GPS may occasionally direct you to use Broken Arrow Road. We recommend avoiding this route.

For the easiest arrival, follow:

Highway 13 → Highway H → Black Oak Resort Lane → Winnebago Lane → Sioux Lane

The roads are easy to navigate, and we simply ask guests to drive slowly and watch for pedestrians, children, and golf carts while enjoying the neighborhood.

This cabin is a cute, comfortable place to stay. My husband and my dog stayed here for 3 days when we came to visit my dad. It was a clean and quiet place to stay and I would stay here again

Nice little place

The ride in was beautiful, love all the curves in the road driving into destination. Cabin is sitting amongst many similar style homes in would consider definitely a small family style vacationing community.

Cozy little home, great location for dogwood canyon, good location to be close to Branson, but out of the city. Had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. My son loved the cubby bed upstairs!

Was able to bring our dog and could walk to the lake. We fished and swam near the boat ramp. Our kids loved the loft room. Very cute little place to spend our Labor Day weekend. Boat rental place near by so rented a boat for the day and then enjoyed the swim area the next.

It was really only a 3 or 4 person facility. The "futon" was not really sleeping appropriate, not very comfortable. And house was too small for more than 3 or 4. Very small bath. Would not suggest a visit if any suggestions of bad winter weather. The roads are not friendly.

Fun Girls Weekend

The property was very clean and quiet, comfortable bed, and well stocked kitchen. Excellent communication. Questions were answered very quickly. The property was a little farther away from Branson than we thought however I would stay here again.

Very Accommodating

The owners were nice enough to let me and my family check in several hours early. This was huge since we were in the area early and we didn't have to drive around with our baby for hours. The place was very clean and had all the accommodations one would expect from a VRBO. The lake was only a short walk away and the neighborhood is a fun experience.

The cabin was nice, but the location wasn't. No view of the lake. To close to other cabins. No parking for a boat.

We have 2 empty lots directly next to the house for boat parking. People utilize those lots without an issue everytime they bring a boat which is often and I believe you utilized the lot for your boat and I offered my slip in baxter marina for you. Last time I checked which was 2 days ago the front deck had a nice lake view. Thanks for the nice review.....your the only one after over 100 reviews that has left such negative feedback.

Very nice

We were comfortable in the space and our friends stayed in the next door cabin, which was fun. One suggestion would be to maybe get a new coffee maker. Otherwise we loved it.

Sweet little cabin in the woods!

I love going to the Taneycomo/Table Rock area, but am not a big fan of the Branson area (76! Yikes!!). I wanted a place that was away from the hustle-&-bustle, close to nature, & tgat was truly relaxing; however, my son had never been to Branson, so we knew we needed 1 day to show him around. This cabin & Lampe were the perfect spot, & were reasonably priced for a lovely, no-stress vacation! This was our first VRBO, so I was nervous; the property owner went above-&-beyond to answer all of my questions before & during our stay. The cabin was adorable, clean, & cozy. We're hoping to visit it again in another season to see the beautiful views! The neighborhood was safe & friendly; local restaurants were easy to get to, & we truly enjoyed Dogwood Canyon, which was why we chose to stay in Lampe in the first place. We definitely recommend this location, property, and property manager! Also, the cleaning crew was super friendly when we ran into them, & really made me feel welcome!

It was very clean the owner was easy to get ahold of and answer quickly. We had a blast! It was a quiet neighborhood so no loud parties or anything going on to keep you awake.

The community boat ramp is within walking distance, boat parking is available right next to the cabin, and you're just a short drive from Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, Big Cedar Lodge, Top of the Rock, Silver Dollar City, and Branson. You get the peaceful atmosphere of a lake community while still being close to everything the area has to offer.
