The Hideaway Cottage

If your looking for a place to sleep, shower and relax after a long day of fishing, boating or hanging out at the beach then our newly renovated one room cottage might be for you. It has a kitchenette, a full size bed, bathroom and a screened in porch. There is also an outdoor charcoal grill and outdoor shower for your personnel use.





Linens for bed and bath will not be provided.

You will be sent check in information a few days before your stay

We had a wonderful getaway here! Clean, essentials on hand, private, and close proximity to the beach and other essential attractions. Would highly recommend booking this cozy cottage for a short getaway in a fun location.

Great value. Tiny space with not much room for luggage but very private and quiet. Screened in porch was nice. Close car ride to restaurants and beach. Owner very flexible and responsive. Perfect for a couple. Would stay again!

This is a perfect cottage for a couples weekend away from home. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch for coffee in the mornings and lunch in the afternoon. The cottage is within driving or biking distance to Main Street and the wildlife refuge, which we loved exploring during the day. The cottage was clean and comfortable for two.

Great private place! Love how it's just a few minutes from main Street and the beach! Front porch is great for eating outside without having to worry about the mosquitoes bitting! Highly recommend this place! We definitely will be staying again!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet but convenient to the attractions of Chincoteague and the refuge. We enjoyed staying there very much and would recommend.One suggestion: If possible, a recycling bin would be very useful.

The location of this property was perfect. Though it was nestled near neighbors, it was quiet and felt private. We were able to ride our bikes into town easily and didn’t have to drive during our stay. Great accommodation for a low-hassle trip. We brought our own bedding and towels.

Cozy and Clean!

My husband and I had a wonderful time here, it was just the right size for the two of us. We stayed for a week and enjoyed evenings on the screened porch. The picnic table on the porch was great for bringing home dinner and enjoying it outside but away from the mosquitos. Everything seemed very clean on arrival and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
