Profitez de la vue sur la plage depuis les spacieux espaces de vie décloisonnés dans notre bach de style "bure" au design unique. Profitez du soleil sur le pont avant ou promenez-vous sur la pelouse avant jusqu'à la plage vierge de Te Horo. Grande baignade en été, balades sur la plage toutes saisons.

En été, profitez de repas en plein air avec des amis sous la pergola dans le joli jardin côtier. En hiver, détendez-vous au coin du feu avec un bon livre, des jeux de société, regardez vos DVD préférés sur le grand téléviseur à écran incurvé. ou simplement se recroqueviller sur le siège de la fenêtre et regarder les vagues arriver.

Quelle que soit la saison, exprimez votre esprit de compétition avec piscine, tennis de table ou pétanque (un verre de vin à la main).

Inspiré par l'école de cuisine voisine de Ruth Pretty, vous pouvez préparer une tempête sur le barbecue ou dans la cuisine bien équipée. Ou profitez des cafés et restaurants locaux. À risque pour le tour de taille, il est à 15 minutes à pied du café de l'arrêt de bus de Kirsty dans Sims Rd.

À seulement une heure de Wellington sur l'autoroute ou à 10 minutes de la gare de Waikanae et à dix minutes du village commerçant d'Otaki.

Un lieu idéal pour un week-end loin de la ville ou une réunion de famille élargie. Les locataires matures sont les bienvenus; la maison peut être moins adaptée aux enfants d'âge préscolaire.

Absolute slice of paradise

This was our second time returning to Denise's beautiful Te Horo beach house and once again we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, unique and well appointed with a beautiful location right on the beach with stunning views of Kapiti Island. The house is comfortable and we used the kayaks and body boards available at the house almost every day. We couldn't recommend Denise and her house more, for their flexibility and thoughtfulness. They even left a lovely little sand castle building Christmas gift for our four year old daughter. Thank you for a fantastic second stay, we hope to be back again in the future!

Beautiful relaxing retreat

We had a weekend here - the house is perfect for a big group - with so much space for lounging and eating together. Its even more beautiful than the pictures and such a lovely sociable layout. Super clean, great communication from Denise and lots of little touches that made it extra special. We want to come back next year :)

We loved staying here -- the great views, kitchen, and spacious bedrooms were a great home base. It had everything we needed and we felt very at home with the generous welcome hamper! Magic family get away

Mid-Winter Weekend

My family enjoyed a wonderful long weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, including a well appointed kitchen. The living/dining area was spacious, modern and had amazing views. The beach was steps away for walks and Otaki was a quick drive for supermarket etc. The outdoor patio and deck must be great in the summer! Host was very responsive.

Lovely Spot

What a lovely place to stay with the family! Denise's communication was second to none, and despite the terrible weather we were unlucky enough to experience, there was still plenty of things to do over our stay. A lovely gift basket awaited us, and we enjoyed all the little extas that were available. There was a lovely kiddies playground just around the corner which we did get to once the weather fined up, and we enjoyed catching sharks off the beach!

An ideal location for a peaceful break

We were looking for a location for a quiet and peaceful stay with our immediate family, where we could relax together. This property ticked all the boxes and Denise the host was outstanding. It was perfect, the house is just brilliant, and the location right on the beach allowed us to enjoy the winter stay in comfort. The house is so well equipped, and the fire is great, we just didn’t stay long enough! We will be back, and for longer.

We live and work in central Wellington and escape to the Beach Retreat with friends and family whenever time permits! One of us is Kiwi born and the other originates from Hampshire, England. Our young adult daughter still enjoys the beach experience when she can be lured away from city life.

We love the house and area; we discovered the unique beachside settlement by visiting friends there. It's less than an hour from Wellington, but has a beachside village atmosphere, which leaves suburbia behind. We immediately loved the house when we saw it - unique architecture with its soaring ceiling and wide views to the sea. We enjoy summer, but equally curling up in front of the fire on a winters day is great too.
