So much attention to detail at this lovely apartment. Beautiful views. Very comfy beds. Everything was very clean and tidy. Great appliances etc. Perfect base for our short stay.

Superb location

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. It was super quiet, immaculate, with stunning views across the harbour. Just 10 minutes from the town centre it was the perfect base for our visit to Whangārei.

Harbourside Apartment - Onerahi

A perfect property for a 7-night stay. Tastefully decorated and extremely well provisioned. Our host was in contact with us several times to ensure we had everything we needed - much appreciated. Would highly recommend.

terrific location

The owner was on hand and very helpful. Couldn't watch TV so watched a DVD provided. Gorgeous view. Very quiet.

Paradise in Whangarei

The apartment we stayed in was situated on a hill, just across from a beautiful view of the bay. Attractive exterior and a nicely decorated interior were both comfortable and clean. Every convenience was available in the kitchen and there was lots of information about the surrounding area. Leann was very friendly and helpful. There was a lot to do in this amazing area.

Everything was too perfection. The cleanliness, communication, facilities and location were spot on. It was all the little extras and attention to detail that set this apartment apart. I will definitely be back.

The view was exactly as advertised. Sunset was great and there was always something going on at the wharf (pier) to keep you entertained. The unit is nice sized and has all the amenities, even an air fryer! The road is a bit tricky and narrow but there is little traffic. You will have to drive to almost everything. There is a yacht club restaurant nearby, but you need reservations. You do get a bit of noise from the upstairs guests but it's not too bad. It's a good base for checking out all the attractions in the area.

Wet Weekend

Everything was fine except for the mattress which was a bit hard- could do with a topper. Very clean and comfortable. The picture shown in the advert shows the view from the top apartment so the description needs to show images of the top view and the view from the lower apart which is what we got....thinking we were applying for the top apartment view with balcony. As it was the weather was atrocious so it didn't really matter in the end.

All photos are absolutely true to the apartment and taken from the apartment or from the driveway or verge outside. There are even a couple showing the car parked right outside the apartment, one shows the road next to the driveway. There are no photos taken from the apartment upstairs and no photos of a balcony. There are however photos of the courtyard next to the apartment with beautiful water views this is for the use of Beach Lane apartment only - perhaps you thought that his was a balcony? Perhaps a read of the description and the latest reviews would have further clarified the position of the property. The apartment has had high occupancy for the past 6 years and you are the first person to accuse me of false advertising as you did when I sent you parking instructions prior to arrival. Despite your rudeness I offered you the option of a last minute cancellation or the option of upgrading to Harbour Lane Apartment upstairs - you declined. Bed comfort can be quite subjective and there is a topper on the bed. Had only great reports about the beds in past few months so I won’t be rushing out to replace. I wonder why you didn’t mention this on the note you left saying you had a lovely stay? Thank you for leaving the apartment clean and tidy. Leeann

Amazing views, stunning house, great place to stay

Leanne had a vacancy so kindly upgraded us to the upstairs part of the house. She was extremely friendly and helpful, and we had an absolutely lovely stay at the house.

This holiday was great. It was only a 4 day holiday / getaway for us - family of 4, but the batch house was all that we needed. We stayed in Onerahi, so more a fishing spot rather than clean swimming beaches, so fishermen / surfers would enjoy it being on the port side of Whangarei. But Onerahi shop's weren't far way - 5 min drive, & main Whangarei within 20 min's. Easy driving to shop's or attraction's thru Whangarei, but also the host was very accomodating in informing us of nearby attraction's. A Great stay Thank you Kelvin, Barbara & family

Thank you for your review. I am pleased your family had a great stay and enjoyed the location. We are ideally situated between all the great things Whangarei has to offer from surf beaches to adventure parks but close to shops and restaurants. Or just to spend quiet time watching the boats go by.

Convenient location to explore an amazing area, or to just relax and chill with a beautiful view of the bay. Very comfortable and clean apartment with everything we needed plus extras. Hope to definitely return and will recommend it to friends and family.

Great stay

Lovely property with beautiful views across Whangarei harbour, sitting in the courtyard with a glass of wine looking at the scenery and the people on the nearby pier was a highlight of our stay. Hosts communicated perfectly from the outset and the property was incredible, everything you would need and more. We would definitely rent again. Pam and Andrew.
