This property was beautiful and is in a wonderful location in Wanaka. Stephanie was so helpful and her communication was superb. We would go back again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at Southern Cross Lodge. The house is beautiful, and the beds are very comfortable with lovely pillows and sheets. Communication with Stephanie was great. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake from the patio and from so many of the windows. The location was quiet, and we would stay here again.

We loved our stay in this beautiful house in Wanaka. Great location and a great house for a family.

It was such a pleasure to stay here. The whole process from booking to check in and check out was easy. The owner was very obliging with recommendations for things to do, and generous with their use of the amenities near by (a community pool was great for the kids) and their own equipment (mountain bikes). Would happily stay here again.

Thanks Ian, yes nothing better than having a BBQ on the terrace, looking at that view!!! So happy you loved the house. The spa and pool- these facilities are part of the Peninsula Bay community (as described on this platform) Maintenance was required, these were urgent repairs which were to be finished before the weekend, they were delayed, I have no control over this and I apologise they were not open during your stay.

We had an amazing stay! The beautiful house was perfect for our group of 8. Gorgeous views from every window with nothing overlooked in the house in terms of amenities. We spent a wonderful 5 days exploring the region and it was a great base. Stephanie was an excellent host, providing loads of info and always responded in a timely way. We would highly recommend this stunning property and would love to return!

Stephanie was very welcoming, provided her contact and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The house and view are top notch. We enjoyed being a bit outside the town center and took strolls to dinner in town. Overall we had a great time in Wanaka doing day treks and wine tasting. We would definitely stay here again due to comfort, view, and peace!

The perfect place

You know when you walk into a well built, well maintained and clean property - and this is one of those. Great place in our favourite location on earth. Stephanie communicated brilliantly, sorted through advice quickly and made us feel very at home. Put this house stay on your bucket list!

Magic place - better than the photos

Magnificent house with very thoughtful and attentive owners. The pictures don't do it justice. The house has excellent views and facilities and is in a nicely manicured estate which is just a quick drive into town for when one needs some contact with humanity. Would definitely stay again.

Chic contemporary home with spectacular views

This is a large, clean, spacious contemporary house with large rooms, wide hallways, comfortable bedrooms, modern baths, well equipped kitchen. The windows are huge, with magnificent views of the mountains in all directions. Large sliding doors admit plenty of fresh breezes. A big, sunny home that was a pure pleasure to live in.

Luxury

We stayed at this property as a group of 7, and all loved it. There is so much space here, plenty of bathrooms and quality finishes throughout. It really is a home away from home. The added extras really make this place great (pantry supplies, welcome bottle of wine, fresh fruit). We had a minor issue when we checked in and Stephanie (owner) and Jill (Manager) we’re super easy to contact and happy to assist. They both went above and beyond to rectify the problem. Would recommend this house to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

A wonderful place to stay. The house is beautiful, with stunning views, and it was the perfect place to come back to after long days skiing and exploring Wanaka and the surrounding area. It was very comfortable, well appointed, and had everything we needed to relax. The host was friendly, helpful and always quick to respond. We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, luxurious place to stay in a fantastic location.

Amazing Stay

Wonderful house in a great location. Superb views in all directions. Great to come back from a day skiing to light the fire, open a bottle of wine and relax. Kids and adults had a great time. Thank you!

Nice house.

We enjoyed our stay. The house worked very well for 2 families and the movie room was a big hit with the kids. Plenty of room, great views in a nice part of town. We will return for sure.
