Great place to stay for a group - multiple outdoor hangout areas and a big living room. Easy walk or drive to the beach. Well-stocked and clean. Would definitely stay again!

We hope to make this trip an annual tradition, and will definitely stay at this house again! The host was very accommodating, the house was beautiful, perfect for our family with the 5 bedrooms, and the nearby beach was fantastic! Also, the property was very nice, with a porch with a roof over it, a back patio, the fire pit in the back was very nice, and the wooded lot was absolutely gorgeous!

The property was very nice and well furnished. We had six adults and a toddler, and there was plenty of room to hang out in the living room. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area is great! If only the weather would have cooperated so we could have used it more. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach with a stroller and beach gear but was a quick two minute drive. Constructive suggestions: a bit more attention to cleaning would be good as well as checking the condition of the bbq…it took a while to clean it so we could grill. Would absolutely stay again!!

We're sorry the well water smelled and tasted bad enough that you had to buy your own drinking water. We're researching options to correct this and have already put a maintenance program in place for adding salt to the water softener.

We loved the property and beautiful home. We celebrated my mother in-law birthday enjoying the beach and spending time together at your vacation house. Great space and close by stores to St Joe and Coloma.

Lake Michigan Family Reunion

We couldn't have been more pleased with the Beach House! It was extremely clean and newly remodeled. There was a lot of inside room and seating, and also outside room and seating. The gardens and grass were beautiful and it is snuggled in the among the trees on a quiet little lane. We beach was only a couple of blocks away and the the park there had a great playground, clean beach, and was a great place to swim even for our littler ones. We all agreed we wished we could stay longer!

Peaceful family getaway

Well maintained and property was just as pictured.Outside patio with fire pit was used every night.Hardly watched any tv with Hagar Beach just down the road,we watched sunsets instead. Property manager was great,answered all my questions very promptly and check in was a breeze.Will definitely book again. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

The only issues we experienced were a broken bottom rack in the dishwasher, a broken glass in the cabinet, mold in both bathrooms and unpleasant smell and taste of the tap water. The idea that we could walk to beaches is a bit misleading although they were a close drive away. Property is for sale and some friendly potential buyers wandered the property a couple of times.

Great location for a getaway to Lake Michigan

Cozy, clean house. Perfect size for the 8 people we had on our trip. Short walk to smaller Haggar Beach, or take the 10 minute or so drive into St Joseph to Silver Beach. The outdoor shower was an added bonus that everybody enjoyed. Easy check in and out. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Bought some firewood form the road to have a fire one of the nights at the cute fire pit. There were beach chairs that were used while at the beach. Definitely would recommend this property.

Great Lake house

This a great house to stay at!! The location was perfect. Walking distance to a super cute public beach. You do have to cross a main road but not too bad. It’s only a 3 minute drive and parking was always good!! The house is equipped with everything you need. Loved the outside shower, and the outdoor kitchen!! The hosts had really good communication any time we had a question. And when we forgot something they contacted us to see if we’d like it shipped home! We’ll definitely stay there again!!

This was our annual ladies trip (5 of us). Really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice home with big gathering room and 5 nice bedrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well-equipped. Location was convenient. We traveled to the Holland area for shopping and eating (Crust 54 had delicious pizza), visited Michigan lake state park, St. Joseph for more shopping and eating (Buck Burgers had a variety of very good food), and Silver beach during our stay. We did walk to Hagar Beach one morning which took about 10 minutes and was pretty easy (we are in our 50s). Do have to walk along the main road (there are wide shoulders) for a minute or two and then cross. Also have to go up and down the steps at the beach and there is a slight hill on the road coming back. Bring some detergent if you plan to do laundry. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside areas very much but they are nice spaces. We did ask for a few more towels and they were brought to us within 30 minutes. Owners may want to consider handrails in at least the first floor bath - we didn’t think to ask about that detail when booking. There is a Dollar General and a great sub sandwich/ice cream place about a 3 minute drive up the road.
