Welcome to Sunset Bluff, a newly renovated home perched atop the bluff with spectacular views of Lake Michigan. Everything in this lakefront home is brand new, from the floors to the bathrooms to the custom, fully stocked kitchen.

Enjoy the custom stone fire pit, eight-person hot tub, and the steps to your own private beach.

In addition, there are four great beaches within five minutes, including Rocky Gap less than a mile away, and Silver Beach in St. Joseph.

The House:

Sunset Bluff is peaceful and private. After a day enjoying the sun, sand, and cobalt blue waters of Lake Michigan from your private beach, you'll fall asleep to the gentle lull of the waves.

Relax on the deck as you take in the views, listen to the seagulls, and watch the boats drift past. Get a full body massage in the new eight-person hot tub. You might even catch sight of a bald eagle with the included binoculars.

Enjoy your morning coffee from the beverage nook. Wake up each morning with the stunning blue of Lake Michigan dazzling from every window, then grill out on the deck or make delicious meals in the upgraded kitchen stocked with modern amenities, stainless steel appliances, and quartzite stone countertops. You can also work remotely from the dedicated workspace.

After descending the stairs to spend the day sunbathing and playing in the water on your private beach, sit on the deck and grill dinner with the endless views of the water sparkling right in front of you.
In the evenings, relax on the loungers as the sun sets each night over Lake Michigan, enjoy the hot tub, or gaze up at the stars around the custom stone fire pit.

After a day of fun in the water, play some board games from the game cabinet, curl up with floor pillows and watch a movie in the downstairs movie room on Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ (guests have subscription access), or find a new novel to read in the reading nook.

For your entertainment, there is a 65" flat-screen TV in the living room and a second 75" flat-screen TV downstairs in the finished basement movie room.

There is a laundry room downstairs as well, with detergent provided.

The Bedrooms:

The primary bedroom features a luxurious king bed, dedicated office space, and lounge area with spectacular views of Lake Michigan and triple sliders opening onto the back patio.

Please note: the primary bedroom does not have an en-suite bathroom. There is an updated full bathroom in the hallway with a custom tile shower.

Bedrooms two and three are cozy and snug. They feature queen beds with dressers, mirrors, and USB chargers on the nightstands. Bedroom three includes an en-suite bathroom, freshly remodeled with a custom tile shower.

In bedroom four, the kids’ room has a full over twin bunk bed, which sleeps up to three children.

Bring your boats! There is plenty of parking on the oversized circle driveway.

Nearby Activities:
Silver Beach is by far the best beach for families in the area. Play on the beach playground, try your hand at beach volleyball, rent some paddle boards or kayaks, splash around in the giant splash pad fountain, ride the carousel, and walk the famous St. Joe pier to the lighthouse. Charter a fishing boat, rent a sailboard, or try your hand at boogie boarding.

Then head up the bluff to downtown St. Joe’s picturesque river walk and snack on ice cream or a sweet drink while you peruse art galleries, souvenir shops, and clothing boutiques, or explore the cobblestone streets on a surrey bike that seats up to ten people!

Other activities include exploring miles of dune trails on foot or rent mountain bikes. Climb the giant dunes at nearby Warren Dunes. Taste and drink your way through the many excellent wineries and breweries in the heart of the Midwest’s wine country.

If you enjoy golf, don’t miss Harbor Shores Resort, which is the only Jack Nicklaus signature golf course on Lake Michigan. It’s located less than five minutes from the house.

When you’re hungry, visit one of the dozens of award-winning restaurants, including beloved Silver Beach Pizza, where you can eat the best pizza in Michigan inside an actual train station. Or head back to the house, fire up the grill on the deck, and eat dinner while enjoying another spectacular sunset.

Southwest Michigan isn’t only a summer destination. Fall is also a wonderful time to visit, as the leaves transform into glorious shades of yellow and burnt orange, purple and scarlet.

Spend your days enjoying fall color and wine tours, hiking, beach-combing, apple-picking, bird-watching, and curling up next to a fire on the bluff, listening to the waves as the sun sets over Lake Michigan.

In winter, try cross-country skiing, ice skating, and visiting museums, art galleries, and delicious restaurants. Sunset Bluff is your home away from home, no matter what season you visit.

The beach towns of South Haven, New Buffalo, Union Pier are within driving distance, along with Notre Dame.
