À seulement 5 minutes du centre commercial Onerahi, Ă  15 minutes du bassin de la ville de Whangarei. À 8 minutes de la taverne et du restaurant Parua Bay et Ă  7 minutes de la rampe de mise Ă  l'eau de Parua Bay. Avec un parcours de golf Ă  proximitĂ©, vous pourrez pratiquer de nombreuses activitĂ©s Ă  proximitĂ©. Pour ceux qui souhaitent relever le dĂ©fi, parcourez la piste du mont Mania et les nombreuses promenades dans la brousse Ă  proximitĂ©. Une plage de plages de sable blanc Ă  35 minutes maximum en voiture. Regardez le soleil se coucher la nuit et le lever du soleil le matin.

The stay here was really lovely!. It was close to the water and even though it was a rainy weekend. It was still really beautiful seeing all the lights on the water. The house was really clean and comfortable. Communication was super easy and very helpful :)

The perfect long weekend getaway!

Spent 2 nights at the lodge and it was exactly what we needed to get away from the busyness of Auckland.Property is very clean, tidy and bigger than pictured!!

At high tide - serene views

Studio very well appointed, except the bed was very hard and smaller than what we are used to. Harbour views at high tide were lovely with Royal Spoonbill and other seabirds. The toilet bowl bleach/deodorizer was intensely overpowering, and pervaded the living spaces, which spoilt the experience.

Great property

I really enjoyed being away from city. It was very quiet and loved the dark nights. This location was my Northland base while sightseeing. Make sure you visit the new art museum and the attached Aqua restaurant is excellent.

Ripples and Tides : Waikaraka

This is a superb modern studio holiday apartment which is situated directly on the harbour side. It is tastefully furnished to a high standard and has all of the essential amenities for a relaxing break. Theo and Raewyn are great hosts, and you are made to feel very welcome right from the start. I stayed as a solo independent traveller, but this would equally suit a couple. I would recommend Ripples and Tides to any person travelling to this area of New Zealand.

Northland Holiday

This is a unique holiday unit to stay in . At high tide the waterline is to the lawn of the property making it a great place to rest and relax , our second stay at this property and if we are up that way again we would definitely return .

Relaxing place to unwind

We arrived to the place easily with the very thorough directions and settled in quickly. The place has everything you could need and the view was just lovely. Wish we had the time to stay longer and make use of the kayak to get out on the water. Will have to come back for another stay.

Lovely get away

A lovely little studio to unwind at. Short drive to Mt Manaia and the heads. Just wish I got my timing better with the tide to use the kayak.

Gateway to Northland NZ

Lovely comfortable unit right on the estuary, near to Whangarei and its lovely falls, gardens, and cafes/culture of the basin area and a short drive to the [challenging for us] walk up Mt Manaia. Would stay again. Great start to our ravels around Northland.

I was born in the North and Theo in Holland. We both have adult children and 8 grandchildren between us. We both love the sea and never tire of the ever changing scene from our property. There is nothing nicer then coming home from a hard days work and sitting looking out at our changing view.

We were very lucky when we decided that we wanted to buy a house together. We had always wanted to live on the Whangarei Harbour but be close to work and Whangarei Township and we found our home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

A stones throw from the waters edge and yet close to all necessary amenities. Ample parking. Easy access and close to town. A good selection of bird life to watch.
