The cottage was very comfortable and perfect for our family, and the location was beautiful. Harmern was a great host and we would definitely rebook the same accommodation if we were to return to Rotorua

Lots of character and peaceful property.

We stayed in the homestead home with four adults and two kids (6 and 10).Kids loved the chickens and running around. Interesting setup with multiple units, met some of the other guests which were very friendly.House was well supplied.

Beautiful Holiday Home

This place exceedex our expectations. It is very well appointed in a quiet rural location with a supermarket just 5mins away. We enjoyed the relaxing environment with nest decking and alot od indoor/outdoor flow. Beds were comfortable and the kids liked the bunks. Thank you Harmen & Barbara.

A wonderful peaceful holiday

We were in town for the Tarawera running festival. It was quiet, spacious, and only a 15 minute drive from shops and restaurants.We loved the clean fresh drinking water and beautiful gardens. There was a very friendly and quiet dog who our kids loved playing with.Highly recommended and thankyou.

Quiet but handy

Really nicely stocked place, out of town enough to be quite but close enough to be handy. Plenty of room and a very nice place to stay. Great base for spending a good amount of time in Rotorua. Hosts were great, and check in was easy. Will definitely use again next time a crown of us invade Rotorua. Excellent for large groups.

Amazing

Very well set up property with all that you need for some time away from the city. Peaceful rural location but also very accessible to many other activities and the lakes. Plenty of space to keep some under 5's entertained and great comms with the owners. Definitely would recommend a stay!

Love the Farm and fires

Family had a great stay here. Chilly mornings and evenings warmed up by the fire. Wonderful spot for larger family gatherings as well, even loved the visiting Springer and pointer. Made our stay in RotoVegas super awesome.

A superb place

We normally go for coastal locations or lake side locations but because of demand we couldn’t find anywhere. Lucky us. This was one of the best places we have stayed at - clean, interesting, quiet, calm but with everything you need, including an awesome outside fire and eating area. Thanks for your hospitality. Will definitely be back next time we come to Rotorua.

Queen's birthday

We really appreciated being able to be at this cosy cottage. Having a fire was a treat - warm and cossie. Lovely setting. Hosts open to us at last minute. All we needed. Thank you.

Peaceful retreat

This home is very comfortable & well equipped. The grounds are gorgeous & it was so homey and relaxing. We stayed for two nights & I can honestly say that I wish we were there much longer. I would highly recommend this home! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

We had a great stay, the property had so much to do and is an excellent place for kids.

We had a great stay, the property had so much to do and is an excellent place for kids. The only thing that we would pass on is that the trees and hedges need to really be trimmed back as we found it very difficult to get our boat in. Would go back without hesitation

Thanks for the feedback, we try and keep the driveway clear as much as possible, its a fine line between" all open" and less privacy and green covered in and more privacy.
