Situated in the Ramada Lakeside Resort with direct access to the Ohau Channel and Lake Rotorua. Escape to the lake’s edge & enjoy a modern 2-bedroom house all to yourself. Resort style living with full use of the complex facilities at your doorstep – swimming pool, spa, tennis court, gym, boat ramp and fly-fishing Oct-May.
Enjoy a drink & meal at the amazing Club House Café & Bar - (Days/Hours vary) or just 5mins down the road is the Famous Okere Falls Store and white-water rafting. 15mins to Rotorua and 35-45mins to Papamoa/Mt Maunganui. Perfect place to relax after a day of adventures or if you just want some peace and quiet.

The condo was clean, nicely appointed, easy to get to, and very quiet. The lake view was lovely. The on-site restaurant was quite good (check opening hours in the winter!)

Lovely apartment and a beautiful holiday park

We found the communication with Thea very agreeable, and the apartment to reflected the personality of a loving family. The area is very beautiful, surrounded by water. The pool area was very clean, too, as was the gym. We loved it there. It’s a brief Commute to Rotorua, totally worth an order to stay in such a nice place. There was washing powder available for the washing machine, even by a high and brand, which we appreciated, too. The only regret was to have stayed for two nights only and not longer.

Take me back! AMAZING STAY!

Fantastic in every way. Leah you were so great to deal with, so helpful and prompt with communication. The house was better than pictured, it had everything you would need and more. It was so lovely after a big day out to come back to a home, swim, play some tennis (thank you so much for providing sports gear) and relax. Having a washing machine and dryer was so helpful also. Next time we are in Rotorua, we will be staying here. Thanks Leah 😊

We booked for 5 adults and unfortunately the 5th bed was a very basic camp bed which was only suitable for a young child so we had to sleep on the couch. Wasnt ideal. Otherwise the property was excellent

Home away from home

Very happy with our stay - clean and comfortable property - with all amenities needed for a family stay, including some great toys and books for the kids, and good location walkable to lake with swimming pool option also. Oven was a bit tricky to operate (without instructions as the temp controls were missing) but owner Leah was very easy to contact and an easy fix to google instructions. Advert needs a little tweaking as there are beds for 4 people but can add a bed - Leah was very accommodating in this regards - many thanks!

A great location

A nice little apartment that has everything you need. Could do with some better curtains to block out the lights that are on all night outside, and the bed in the main room could do with replacing...think roll-together. Also we were unable to access the gym with the card that was left - we didn't contact the owner as we had other commitments but it would have great if it had just worked. Other than that the location is great.

Thanks for your review Leanne. I was unaware the gym card was not working. The resort reception would have been able to give you another one however I will make sure I get this sorted asap for other guests. In regards to the curtains and bed I have never had any complaints but will look into this. The upstairs windows are getting replaced soon with double glazing so I will look into some new curtains also. Thank you.

When we arrived we couldn’t open the locker and it took around one hour (emails/call) until someone arrived with a spare key. If sometimes the locker box isn’t working they should replace it.

My name is Leah, I am a full time working solo mum to a 6-year-old boy. The villa at Ramada Resort is my own property and I rent a house in Papamoa for my son and I to live in. We are 35mins drive away from Ramada Resort so if there is anything you need we are not far away. I take pride in having the villa fully equiped and set up nicely for families to enjoy. I hope you enjoy your time spent there.
