Le Houston Cottage est un charmant cottage de plage sur le thème de la mer, confortable et offrant une vue superbe sur les plages de sable fin et la baie intérieure des îles.

Profitez de la vie en plan ouvert avec des terrasses spacieuses, un espace gazonné adéquat pour jouer ou se garer.
Le salon relax avec vue sur la plage, cette maison de plage collective ajoute une sensation unique de détente et de rajeunissement qui vous donneront de bons souvenirs de la baie des îles et vous donneront envie de revenir.

Best view in the street

Only used for sleeping but great location for walks, visiting Russell, boat trips, and peace and quiet. View is fab from the deck, better than pics 😊 Thanks for having us.

Great location.

A great location at TAPEKA just a few minutes drive front Russell, cafes, restaurants and shops. 2 excellent swimming beaches just a couple of mins walk. Fantastic views. Walking tracks. House is well set up with all you need. Will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful and cosy house in a stunning location

We have absolutely loved our stay. Had dinner while watching the sun set over the sea, walked down to the beach and dived right off the shore, short drive to Russel, a beautiful little town woth lots of great restaurants and cafes. House is very neat clean and tidy. Super cosy. Love being able to sit and look at the sea. For my wlderly parents the loving room was a little cold in due to the lack of a heater and us visiting early spring. But each bedroom had a heater so we were plenty cosy during the nights. The owners were a joy to interact with, quick to reply and very kind. We can warmly recommend!

Wonderful for children

The location is fantastic. Two houses one way to a beautiful rocky beach, with rock pools and little caves; great exploring - two minutes walk the other way to a sandy beach. A five minute drive to Russell for shopping and the wonderful Seaside restaurant and cafe. An outside shower (warm water) means it is easy to keep children sand free. The property is a little dated in terms of decor and facilities but a typical seaside bach, comfortable and family friendly. To be recommended

Great Christmas Getaway!

Thank you Brian and Gayle for renting us your wonderful Tapeka house. It was a perfect place for our family to relax and explore the beautiful Bay of Islands. The house is well equipped and set up for a family, right by a lovely beach and with a gorgeous view. It was just perfect!

had a great time here at houston cottage beautiful beach and were lucky enough to have dolphins off the beach which family loved safe swimming and easy access boat ramp 1 min away. comfortable house great aspect for sunrise and sunsets over the bay we will be back. also great communication with brian fast and easy to deal with and very helpful all in all fantastic stay 😁

A very near and tidy home that we enjoyed staying in for our short holiday. The owners communication was brilliant and I always felt that if I ever needed to contact him for any reason he would always be there to help out where he could. What’s also worth mentioning is the lovely community at Tapeka Pt. Everyone knows everyone out there and the lovely people there added to what was already a lovely holiday. The property was perfect as a family bach.

The property was perfect as a family bach. Everything we needed was on site and in great condition. Lovely views to two beaches, perfect quiet no exit street. Warm house with lots of pillows and blankets should you need them. Dolphins swimming off the beach, great fun from a kayak or from the shore, five minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Russell. We will be back.

This is a great batch very clean with everything you need. Tapeka point was an awesome location with a great swimming beach a short walk away. Russell is a short drive or good walk away but if I was to choose I would rather stay at Tapeka point than Russell because it is quieter and has a great swimming beach.
