A great place to stay, and we'll definitely be back. Pet friendly - but not fenced. For first time future visitors - on arrival go right to the end of the shared driveway - at first we couldn't work out which house it was!

We had a great stay at the place, the view was really special and it was a comfortable place for our two families. Plenty of facilities and equipment, and we made good use of both the spa and the pizza oven. Russell is a magical place and the location was very close to Russell township as well as the beach.

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beaut house and location, loved the walk to Russell township. Our linen wasnt washed so I washed them while we stayed - I couldnt find anywhere to communicate directly with you about this sorry, I think the laundry cleaner simply didnt show in between visits, as the sheets were stacked in a pile.

The house was tidy inside and the beds were comfortable. Parts of the deck were unstable and in need of repair, as was the driveway. The whole property could do with some care and attention.

There is a view of Metauwhi Bay. The property was pet friendly. There was a strange odour when opening the fridge door. There were a number of hairs under the kitchen stools. The linen on the beds was however very clean. The biggest disappointment was that there wasn't an electricity socket within 5m of the car parking area. We were unable to recharge our EV during our stay.

Was a nice place to stay, smaller than I thought but cosy. Deck didn’t feel very safe on lean and very slippery but not a biggy

Russell Getaway

Excellent location - amazing views, peaceful, quiet. Felt secluded but an easy walk into Russell. Property was great - perfect size for 4 adults as you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. Pizza oven and jacuzzi were a lovely bonus. There was a good amount of wear and tear and the mattress were very springy but it was clean, tidy and welcoming

Lovely home accommodated us well we loved the setting We cranked up the pizza oven beautiful and definitely enjoyed the Spa 3 adults over 65+ found the entrance a bit hard to walk up but we managed Overall Thank you We liked that we didnt have to cart blankets and linen

Waitangi weekend mini break

We had a fabulous weekend at 16 Jandles. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful place. Great facilities with all of the extras. Lots of space and well set out. Love the flexibility of space and indoor and outdoor flow. Excellent communication throughout booking process…No complaints from our family - we would all love to return!

3 day stay at sixteen jandals

Amazing time at the place... Good views, a spa and an outdoor pizza oven.. Very clean and tidy.. Had everything we needed right down to extra snacking ingredients in case we forgot something... Honestly I wish we didn't have to leave... This is definitely staying on my books for future stays.. Highly recommended!!

Perfect holiday home for the family

Amazing property, had everything we needed and then some! Was nice and clean, and low maintenance to keep tidy throughout our holiday. AWESOME kitchen to cook for the family and friends. Pizza oven and bbq was a bonus!! We had a couple of rainy days, and the lounge was well set up for hanging out and relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family holiday. The walk to long beach and also into town was great, easy access to both. Everything about this rental was ideal! Cannot wait to return!

Amazing

Loved our stay here the house was very tidy and well furnished, spa was amazing sitting under the ferns listening to the birds with a wine was my peak... we did think it funny the idea of walking to town with the ginormous steep hill, I would've been crawling by the top, the deck was a bit scary too, otherwise was perfect for our weekend away thanks heaps

Beautiful Russell

A week away with the family. This property had everything we needed but it needs some significant repairs. There were issues with locks on several doors meaning we either couldn’t lock or unlock doors. The decking is in need of replacing. There were nails coming through, parts were rotten and the balustrade was dangerous. Not a major issue for us but this would be completely unworkable with small children or elderly visitors.

Incredible views in a tranquil location.

Plenty of privacy with all the comforts of home and only a few mins from the centre of Russell. Our evenings spent around the pizza oven and dipping into the spa whilst enjoying the stars were definite highlights. We would highly recommend for a quiet mini break for two or for a small group.

Beautiful position

Beautiful spot up the hill overlooking native bush in a very special area 20 minute walk from Russell township. We really enjoyed our stay here, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Thank you.

4 nights away for a relaxing break , house had everything you need plus the spa was the best bonus . On beautiful clear nights there was nothing better to sit out side under the stars
