It was very clean. It had a driveway with room for two cars, but the cars were parked behind each other. It was within walking distance to the Metro stop and Old Towne Alexandria. Getting out of the driveway was challenging due to a high volume of traffic. We learned to leave at a less busy time of day.

The place is close to everything - restaurants, convenience stores, transportation. We would choose this place again for our next DC trip!

Location is superb

Property is perfectly situated for Metro access and Old Town Alexandria adventures. Everything is walkable with sidewalks, street lights, and nearby restaurants. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths offer space for family to spread out. The property could use a little TLC but overall a great experience.

Delighted with this house; very clean; comfortable beds and convenient for DC.The upstairs shower didn’t work (the reason for 4 stars) but the handyman was able to fix a workaround so we could make do. The basement shower worked fine. Would stay again in the future.

DC Trip

The house was clean and accommodations were comfortable. It has off street parking if you drive in. The house has some minor fit and issues, a well used stove top and some cabinetry issues, nothing major, but in my opinion the house is priced appropriately for what it is. The location is great, walking distance to the Metro station and Lena’s, the local pizza place. The teens ordered late night take out from Lena’s almost every night. Overall it's good house and we would stay there again.

It was no more than adequate for our purposes 3 nights. There is conflicting information on WiFi access with one framed instruction and different instructions on check in process online. House needs care and attention, even though the told us they checked property before we arrived but the living room rug edges were turned up along both sides and not properly secured to the floor, it was a tripping hazard. I requested the property manager to-tape it down. The company responded by sending in repair person a day after they said they would be coming. We were unable to get into one of the bedrooms after closing the bedroom door. The doorknobs latch wasn’t working. We called the property manager and they assured me they would send a repair person to open it and no one ever came. Luckily We figured out how to remove the doorknob so we could unlatch it and then replace it and tighten. Very unsettling. No reason was given as to why no one came to fix it. The white comforters were stained and they placed two sheets over them instead of a duvet. Window Air conditioners in bedrooms were loud.Beds and pillows were comfortable.We are a family of 5, it fit our needs for room and the foosball and pac man games made it enjoyable. Although they had a dirty broken cabinet in the room with no top and missing a door? Kitchen is large and had cooking equipment. Yard and deck available but yard furniture was dirty and worn.Bathrooms need work, shower tiles, paint cracks and caulking.

Super clean house, walking distance to several restaurants and the metro and off street parking which was nice. The only issues we had was not having central air (ac window units only) and it was stuffy downstairs and you needed a doctorate in electrical engineering to work the microwave overall great stay
