What a lovely stay we had. Very comfortable beds. Lovely spot. The section was very tidy and the gras was so nice and soft and super green. Nice whānau feel to it.

We had a lovely weekend away in Kawhia and really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. The host was excellent—communication was spot on, very welcoming, and everything was explained clearly, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free.The property itself was immaculately clean and well cared for, and we especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly, which made a big difference for us.All in all, a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway.

Location was great for our stay. The house was very clean. I loved that there were so many activities for the kids to play, board games, cards, outdoor activities such as badminton, and cricket, and a big yard to play on. We bought our dog down for our trip and she loved the massive yard to run around on as it was fully fenced. Laundry was utilized. Host was lovely and communication was clear. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Emma.

Emma’s property is spacious, tidy and very convenient for anyone staying in Kawhia. We liked the good kitchen, washing machine/dryer and 3 good sized bedrooms.

Family reunion

Such a beautiful place to stay at with the bush backdrop nice and quiet and relaxing. Lovely bedrooms and beds, bathroom and shower awesome. Nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, overall had a wonderful weekend.

Great place to stay, we really enjoyed it. Spacious and clean and has a good indoor outdoor flow. Being tucked away down the end of the street made it feel private and made our stay relaxing and peaceful. Contact from the host was amazing and she was so easy to contact and exchange messeges. We thoroughly enjoyed the accomodation for our entire 10 day stay. It was immaculate and very well resourced. Our whanau were all very comfortable with their rooms/beds and our dog made the most of being able to sprint up and down the large, secure section. The parking area was also large and made dealing with boats and trailers a breeze. Our host was very accommodating and quick to respond. She seemed to have thought of every need. We absolutely recommend this property. It would be our preferred place to stay when we come back to Kawhia.

Family visit to reminisce old times

Was perfect for our group of three couples as a base to visit Te Maika where our father fished 70 years ago. Facilities were perfect and was like a home away from home. Setting very quiet and peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication with owner. Thank you Emma.

Tidy pleasant well equipped house. Comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower - lovely sunny private setting yet just a short stroll to the wharf. Great communication from Emma the host.

We had a wonderful weekend, thanks so much. Excellent and prompt communication from the host. Emma is very friendly, kind and accommodating. It is truly an amazing bach! Clean, neat and tidy and very well equipped. It is very private with a huge well-kept yard and a breathtaking view of the bush. This bach is highly recommended, especially for families with toddlers. It was the perfect place for a family holiday and we hope we will have the privilege to visit it again in the future.

A beautiful home with everything you need and looks out to native birds such as fantails etc. You do think you are in the bush whioe you are still in the middle of Kawhia:-) it was great for dog and had so much room.
