Peaceful Retreat on the Lake

This was a great change of scenery for us and our son who is currently at JBLM. It was quiet and peaceful and just the right amount of space for us. Love that the home had some of its original charm along with upgrades to the space. Very cozy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, which is always important when we visit our soldier. As noted in the listing, parking was for just two vehicles and tight if vehicles are larger. Not a problem but just a note that there really isn’t extra parking. Overall, loved the long weekend and the space and loved being able to look out the windows at the lake view. Just stunning!

The property overlooks the lake which is lovely. The kitchen had a great selection of supplies inc coffee for the Keurig, spices, and other supplies to use for meals and to save buying just for a few days or week. The host was very prompt to answer questions regarding check-in since we were coming in late at night.

This was the perfect place to spend our time in Spanaway! Everything was just as shown. The host was very responsive. We loved the view! It’s in a quiet neighborhood. We didn’t fix any meals there, but it was well-stocked if we had wanted to. The real plus for us was that it was only 3 miles from our son’s family (including our graduating grandson).

Perfect place! I would definitely stay again, close to JBLM and other stores and restaurants. It felt right at home.

The property and home were absolutley wondeful! Large windows overlooking the lake offered views of the natural beauty of the area and the local wildlife. Each day we saw ducks and geese on the water and adjoining properties. Everything was better than anticipated inside of the home. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay at the Lake

We stayed two nights here on a trip through the PNW. This house had everything we needed; especially after a few nights in hotels. It provided a lake getaway, but with plenty of services (gas stations, cell service, grocery, etc) nearby. The neighbors were very friendly, and the house had fishing gear, paddle boards and kayaks to keep everyone entertained.

Peaceful Oasis

Wonderful, quiet stay. Very comfortable couch and beds. plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Love the Roku TV's in every room. Spent most of our mornings looking out at the lake and watching for wild life.

Nice Lakehouse

Nicely remodeled lake house. Floor is uneven, but that adds to its charm. Great view of the lake and excellent communication with property owner. Enjoyed our off-season weekend stay. Would like to come back in the Summer.

The view was fantastic, but dingy towels and bedding were not. The bedrooms were very cramped, hard to get around the bottom of the king sized bed. The second bathroom seems to be more of a laundry room / utility room with a cramped shower.Communication and host interaction was good.

The primary bedroom was thoughtfully designed with a king bed, which many couples prefer, even though the space reflects the charm of an older lake home with a modern remodel. The additional shower was added as a bonus feature and designed to fit the existing layout. Wonderful Retreat

Stayed on this property for a few days while my son was at football camp. Enjoyed a mom retreat...beautiful view of the lake from the house, paddleboarding every morning, walks in local park, cooking and trying new recipes, online work from desk with a view, Zumba classes at LA fitness center about 0.5 miles away. Absolute peace, serinity, and renewal. Will definitely try to stay here again if we do the same football camp next year. Thank you for a much needed retreat, couldn't ask for more.

Unforgettable

This lakeside property in Spanaway was perfect in every way. The home was beautifully appointed and impressively clean. Everything we needed was available for our use. Ms. Sandra (host) was always available and very gracious. Every description about this property was accurate. As a first time user of this service, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. I would enthusiastically recommend this property for the value, the awesome host and convenience of the location to nearby businesses.
