Great location close to stockyards area, home was clean, charming and well appointed. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

It was good. Would have liked more towels, and better quality toilet paper however the place was clean and easy to access from the stockyards.

Very low amenities. Got kicked off of the Netflix because too many people on it. The duplex for the price should have been a lot nicer. Cleaned up on the exterior etc.

Great Location

My wife and I had a great time at the stockyards and this property was close to everything. Very convenient! Clean and would stay there again.

Fort Worth Trip

The location of this property was great! We walked to the Stockyards which was about a mile away! We enjoyed our stay! Our only suggestion would be that the check in and out process needs clarity!

Great communication

Mandi was great at communicating throughout the trip, property was good except for some toilet issues but Mandi was super responsive and got it fixed quickly. Overall had a good stay

Ft worth horse show

Home was adequately stocked. Close to all the attractions. Beds comfortable. Clean. Would stay again. Neighborhood is older but we had no issues with neighbors or area.

Review

Inside of duplex was clean. Outside needs a little attention such as cobwebs around front entrance and needs sweeping around front door. Did not feel at ease walking through the neighborhood to the historic downtown area (even though pretty close) because of condition/upkeep of neighboring properties, so ended up driving and paying to park closer to stockyards at Billy Bobs and in the paid parking lots. Overall, the stay was satisfactory.

Misleading and Nasty

Upon arriving to the home, we feared for our safety because there were homeless people walking around the neighborhood. All neighboring homes were very unkept with broken down vehicles in the yard and duct tape on the windows. The adjoining duplex had garbage on the porch and looked very unkept. When we went into the unit it smelled like roaches and then we killed a roach on the floor near the couch. The rugs were dirty and there was food in the refrigerator as well as used soap by the sink. Honestly we didn’t look at the bedrooms because we never got past the living room. We left immediately and had to find other accommodations for our trip.

You know things may not be quite right - when the only communication you get ahead of check in is “I’ll text you the door code day of” then you have to reach out day of and ask for it. When we arrived the surrounding areas, houses, and neighborhood were unkept, in poor condition, and the area felt unsafe. There is a reason there are no pictures of the outside, the backyard. When we walked in there was a musty smell and the inside was very warm. The refrigerator had old items in it (all expired) We turned the air conditioning on and it was apparent that cold air was not blowing out. I reached out to property owner and she said it was an older system and may take a while to cool down. It never cooled down and after spending the night in 85 stuffy smelly conditions we were told that an air company was coming out that morning. They did come out but it can’t be fixed until Monday. So we are in a situation - the owner offered a 100 credit and lots of sorry
..Kinda of insulting. Long story short: we had to get VRBO involved and after several pain staking hours we left the property and had to find alternative accommodations. If you book this property just go in knowing It’s old - it’s musty It’s in a dilapidated neighborhood And if something goes wrong your trip will be interrupted. I

The host was wonderful and very easy to deal with! Would recommend. It was a short walk to the shock yards and a cute place to stay.

Nice and clean cozy duplex. Host has quick responses so it made for an easy and smooth check in. Close enough to enjoy a Family or Friends weekend get away to the Fort Worth Stockyards!
