The Space:
Incredible, Elegant, Luxurious and Open. This custom home is literally just forty feet from the waters of Lake Pend Oreille. Embracing panoramic views of the lake and mountains, this home is a Luxury-tier waterfront property.
Located on the North side of Lake Pend Oreille and just minutes from downtown, this home is nestled down next to the waters of Oden Bay. A love of beautiful and functional design, and a passionate connection of the outdoor beauty of lake and mountains, motivated the owners to build a home that reflects these passions. Every aspect of this home is thoughtfully constructed and beautifully furnished with a high attention to guest details -- including a 240V (EV Charger) electric car outlet in the garage!
Hardwood floors are softened with warm and colorful Persian rugs. A massive rock fireplace climbs 24' to meet the Great Room's ceiling. Truly gourmet kitchen with coffee bar and wine refrigerator. The main floor primary bedroom overlooks the water and has its own custom fireplace, slider to the patio, and large bathroom en suite.
Upstairs a graceful and open family room welcomes you with a game table, sitting area and a Full-sized bunk bed tucked into an alcove for overflow sleeping. Three additional private bedrooms: King bedroom with desk, Queen bed, and bunk room (four Twins). Ideal for family reunions, and couples or families traveling together.
Outside you'll find a large patio with plenty of seating for outdoor dining and entertainment. Large hot tub next to a sandy beach overlooks a private dock with Sunstream boat lift. Kayaks are provided for your use.
Downtown Sandpoint is about 10 minutes away and you're also just 5 miles to The Idaho Club and 20 minutes to Hope. Schweitzer Mountain is just 30 minutes away -- making this an ideal home for winter skiing or summer hiking and berry picking.
*Be advised that there is a very strict parking limit of only parking 2 vehicles at this home. If you will have more than 2 vehicles, please reach out to our office to coordinate parking for additional vehicles, which will have to be offsite. Due to the remote location of this home and the amount of snow this area gets, all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive vehicles are required. Absolutely no weddings, events or receptions at this home, and no pets allowed. *This home uses exterior CCTV security cameras. Thank you for your care and respect of the home and area. **Note: Â Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Â Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. Â The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.

Guests will have full private access to this home. Note the very strict parking limit of only 2 vehicles at this property. If you have more than 2 vehicles, you need to contact us to discuss options for offsite parking.
