The price for how amazing this place is blew my mind. I had an amazing stay. The internet was fast enough for my teenagers to hook up their ps5 for a few hours, the first flies were magical, the property was private and the firepit was so relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable or needed. We hope to book again before the end of 2026!!

Had a wonderful time at this property. The owner pulled out all the stops to make sure nearly any need that could arise was covered. It was a nice and quiet area perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

Dale is the nicest lady, excellent with communication and she's really attentive to every detail, to make a person's stay just wonderful. Home is impeccably clean, well decorated and she spared nothing to make us comfortable. I highly recommend this little gem of a house and gem of a lady.

Wonderful quiet location on the peninsula with gas stove, bbq, and a fire pit. Comfortable beds and a short walk to Crystal beach although the owner has a parking pass if you wish to drive. Directly across from the Westfield ferry is a coffee shop with Java Moose coffee. Wifi is top notch with generally us using 2 laptops plus cell phones.

The owner was super nice, and met us to give us the code to get in and out of the house. You have anything you could ever need for supplies, there is so many expired items in the cupboards though. There was coffee, creamer, eggs and croissants that were in the fridge looking like they were bought just for us. The bacon and eggs were out of date though. Everything was super clean which we really appreciated but the smell of potpourri and either must or old cigarettes was over powering. My husband and kids could tolerate it but barely. Myself, was extremely nauseated and bested sleeping in the car since it was later in evening when we arrived. The next night, as a family we thought we would just sleep at our families place, because the smell was giving us headaches. We removed the plug in smelly device and opened all the windows that opened and left for the day (she controls the heat, so there was no worries of wasting electricity with windows open). Since it wasn’t as bad and we were leaving first thing in the morning we decided to stay. We left some windows open during the night.We were surprised no one wrote about the smell in their reviews. So despite the owner being extremely friendly, and the place being clean, we would never stay there again. *also just to note I did not contact owner about the smell during my stay as there would be nothing she could do to help this situation, I assume the potpourri smell is to cover up something else*

I am sorry you had such a bad experience, although I cannot understand what the terrible odour could have been. No other guest ever mentioned a problem, the whole house was just washed, painted, and hardwood floors redone 8 months ago. I live there in the winter, I had no issue with any bad smells, and the deodorizer was just to give the entryway a nice smell when you walk in. As for the eggs and bacon, I buy the bacon when it's on sale, and freeze it until needed, which might be a couple of months. I used the same 6 pack carton for the eggs, just refilled it for every guest. I will no longer be offering either to my future guests. I'm sorry you felt uncomfortable during your stay, but I don't know what could be done, the house seems fine to everyone else.

Dale is a great host, and the "bungalow" is just as described. You'll find pretty much anything you need to make for a wonderful stay. And the location is very, very quiet, which is crucial because I travel with a sweet, but reactive dog who barks at unfamiliar sounds. I have always just traveled Route 1through St.John and had never discovered the Grand Bay area. It's spectacular - yet fairly close to city amenities. This was my second of hopefully many more stays.

What a welcoming bungalow, with lots of thoughtful touches. I travel with a lovely but reactive dog, so we really appreciated the quiet setting. I made a mistake with door lock (I used the lock on the doorknob, not the digital one so I locked myself out) and Dale was right there. She’s a great host, and this is a perfect spot to enjoy this beautiful area.

Super bel endroit, dans la nature, accès par traversier. Tranquille, endroit parfait pour une famille avec des enfants. À 20 minutes de st john et à proximité de la baie de fundy. Maison propre et charmante. Nous avons adoré et nous recommandons fortement !
