James was a great host. Communication was excellent. The back yard was a bit wild, but the dogs enjoyed it. We had 6 of us staying and never felt cramped. Front deck was also nice in the evenings!Would definitely book again.

Some friends and I stayed here for the Eugene Marathon. The stay was in a great location if you have a car as it's about 7 minutes to drive into the city area. It's in a nice residential neighborhood so very peaceful at night.Beds were comfy which was really important to us to be well rested before the race, everything was clean (the stay is pet friendly so if you are allergic to cat/dog hair, be aware as there are some lingering hairs around).Would definitely book again if we run the marathon next year!

Oregon vacation

Our experience at this lovely home was a positive one. The neighborhood is quiet. The place is clean and bigger than we expected it to be. We enjoyed sitting out on the very large and beautiful deck in the evening! Great host!

We rented this home for 2 weeks while house hunting. We are a family of 4 with a large breed dog and a cat. The place was a great size for the period of time with plenty of extras. It was clean and internet was great for what we needed. Only thing needed was the back porch needed some work, but it was mostly an issue if you were trying to keep something on the porch or the bugs out. We were there in winter so no issue for us.

Loved it! Clean, divided up nicely for multiple guests, love the view, my favorite area in Eugene. Fully outfitted functional kitchen, a sweet neighbor cat visits the deck, great vibe and very comfortable space. One of the best places I have had the pleasure to stay-- Highly recommend!!!

Lovely quiet neighborhood near family we were visiting (be aware it’s quite hilly). Hosts were very responsive and let us adjust check-in/out times a little to accommodate baby’s nap time. Has everything you need for a great stay. The only slight negatives were yellow jackets making it hard to use the deck and the stair railing being older and therefore not baby proof.

Eugene, 3733 University St

We were in town for a friend's wedding. This location was excellent for all the wedding activities. The house was clean and comfortable. Fenced back yard was great for letting the dog out late night or early morning. A school, park and Amazon trails were a few blocks away and was excellent for dog walking. We would stay here again.

Very clean and well equipped property; pet friendly; owner was in-touch and responsive!Our only issue, not directly related to property, were the hills! We were driving a motorhome and got stuck on the hills leading up to this house. It was a two hour ordeal for us and we wished we had a heads up on the drive to the property

We've stayed at a lot of rental properties in Eugene with a kiddo at UofO. This one was affordable, but definitely not quite as convenient as others we've stayed at. The house is a bit dated and the window AC units definitely didn't keep up with the heat and didn't allow for us to open the windows at night to cool it down. When we arrived, it was very clean, but there was a strong Pine-Sol odor that took days to air out. Overall it was a fine place and was functional for us.

Jim’s place is great and really enjoyed it. The screen back porch was used often, the front porch is absolutely stunning and deer came to visit a few times. Washer and dryer, kitchen utensils, everything you might need. Will return when in town next! 5 stars
