We enjoyed our stay at the Sandbar. It’s a beautiful property. The townhomes are spacious and the game room is an added bonus when you have teens!

We have stayed at many VRBO’s over the years and this the best in all aspects. The property was great. The host has every item that you would need or could every image to make the stay so pleasant. Best value for Oceanside lodging in islamorada. We will definitely stay there again.

We had an incredible time in Islamorada at this property. Very clean. Hosts are very responsive. The only challenge we had was with docking our boat. Low tide was a challenge. Also, be aware that trucks are not allowed inside the gate during busy times. This policy should apply to all guests.

We completely understand the challenge with docking. The tides were unusually low this year, which certainly made boating access more difficult than usual. Regarding the trucks, they are absolutely welcome at the property. However, we ask that trucks remain outside the gate. The gate is conveniently located close to the units, making it easy and accessible for guests while also helping us keep parking fair and available for everyone. We truly appreciate your understanding and feedback, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon!

Holy cow! Where do I start? This place was a dream for our family for the week. There was something for each of us all in one place. Morning sunrise views for me, afternoon pool time for the kids, and nightly ping pong games for all of us. The place had everything we needed to make the most of the time in Islamorada. We hope to be back next year!

Peaceful oasis on the water

At the Sandbar is a brand new, perfectly equipped, vacation home in Islamorada. Our family enjoyed water sports, finishing, bike rides, table tennis matches, with all equipment easily available on location. The hosts have been very communicative and always friendly. In short, a perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries.

Can’t wait to go back!!

We had an amazing week at The Sandbar. It is a beautiful place, so comfortable, well-stocked, clean, and spacious. We had two teenagers with us who loved the game room and the pool, we did bike rides to local restaurants, paddle boarded and fished off the dock, and relaxed on the two balconies. Everything was easy, clean, and great and management was proactive and friendly. We will definitely go back next year and can’t wait!

We stayed a week at the Sandbar and were very pleased. Beautiful home and immaculately decorated. The view was great too! Only issue was having to share the pool with the seagulls. We will be back!

There were many great things. The option to check in early, game room, beautiful house, great property, communication, etc. The only thing to be careful about is there is no true channel to the property so a deep V boat like mine barely makes it the 100 yards to the channel chewing bottom the whole way. I have a 23’ Robalo.

From the moment we arrived in Islamorada, we knew we were in for something special. But nothing could have prepared us for just how incredible this townhouse would be—it was truly paradise on the water!Situated right on the shoreline, this home offers amazing views of the sandbar and Alligator Reef—a scene straight out of a postcard.Inside, the home was just as spectacular. The gourmet kitchen was a dream for anyone who loves to cook—fully stocked with high-end cookware, sharp knives, an impressive selection of spices, and elegant serving pieces that made every meal feel like a five-star dining experience. This kitchen had everything we could possibly need.The beds were very comfortable, offering the kind of plush relaxation that made falling asleep effortless. Every room was beautifully decorated, creating an atmosphere of elegance.Beyond the home itself, its location was unbeatable. We were just a short walk from Starbucks and minutes from fantastic restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.This rental exceeded every expectation—we truly felt like we had discovered a hidden gem in the Florida Keys. The combination of luxury, comfort, and an unbeatable waterfront location made this the perfect vacation. We will absolutely be back!A huge thank you for providing such a stunning and well-equipped home. It made for an unforgettable getaway, and we can’t wait to return!
