Welcome to the "Cottage on Avenue Q" on historic Galveston Island!

Beautifully updated family friendly 1913 island bungalow only two and a half blocks from the beach and entertainment. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cozy home features fully equipped kitchen and bath, granite counter tops, stainless appliances, hardwood floors throughout, central HVAC, washer/dryer and Smart Roku TV is provided. The cottage has 2 bedrooms ( queen bed in one and 2 twins in the other). The cozy living room has a memory foam queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all you'll need for your stay - pots, pans, dishes, flatware, coffee maker, blender, microwave and basic staples (salt, pepper, sugar, cream). The interior is beach cozy contemporary and is a blend of antique and modern furnishings including ship-lapped walls and exposed brick. . Other amenities include a vintage styled bathroom with ball and claw tub/shower combo, and a stackable washer/dryer. Great front porch for evening relaxing! Hosting and customer service is what we do best! We will make sure to check in with our guests via VRBO messenger when you arrive, but otherwise, we will leave you to explore the island and enjoy the Cottage on Avenue Q's amenities. We are always available 24/7 via messenger during your stay in case you have any questions or concerns. Don't miss out staying in this wonderful charming home!

We had such a wonderful time at the Cottage on Q! Everything was so tidy and welcoming, and decorated perfectly. The rooms were lovely, the beds comfy, and neighbors very nice. This little Cottage is in a perfect location just a few blocks from the beach. It’s a charmer and you will love it too.

This is the quintessential Galveston cottage. Complete with all the "Old timey" looks and feels we were hoping for. From the original wooden floors, wavy-glass windows, and discerningly eclectic antiques Cy selected to make it feel homey...it warmed our hearts and tickled our sandy beach toes.

This is a lovely cottage. My daughter and I came for the weekend and we enjoyed its proximity to the beach as well as some quaint downtown spots. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Everything was wonderful as soon as we drove up and saw the charming colors of the house. It is very tastefully decorated and welcoming.
We love Mardi Gras so to see this brought a smile.

The Cottage was clean and cozy. The AC worked well and the fans in the rooms and living room. Kitchen was a good size, great stove and plenty of dishware, utensils and pots and pans and nice quality as well. The washer and dryer was a plus being by the beach and after a week's stay. Neighborhood was not noisy and close to not only the beach but stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will return for another visit. Thank you.
