Beautiful beachfront condo!

Loved the view from every room! Clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Great location! Pictures are accurate. Beds were very comfortable!! Pool is shallow but very warm, even in December. We had a wonderful time and hated leaving.

Wonderful get away

Our family stayed 9 days and loved every minute of it. The condo had an amazing view, was very clean and well stocked. Our only suggestions would be bedside tables and access to local TV channels. We will definitely be back! We are trying to figure out how to buy our own!! Thanks for an amazing stay!

The communication with the 929 host team was excellent and check in and out process were super simple. This location was the perfect and upscale beach getaway. The balcony view from 304 was absolutely stunning—walking up to the ocean each morning from the private boardwalk was a highlight of our days. The pool and hot tub and deck area was beautiful and well maintained, and the grounds were truly pristine and super safe making it feel so peaceful! Its about 15 minutes from the seawall shops and restaurants and the Strand as well. Everything was clean and the beds were VERY comfortable! The game rooms and basketball court was a hit with our teens! The only issue we had was the dryer... it takes three 60 minute cycles to dry a load of clothes. The 929 crew did offer to come and fix it (which likely meant a long visit by maintenance so we refused and just planned accordingly.. so, check with the team to make sure the 304 unit dryer has been fixed) regardless, our family would definitely come back to this location!

We’re thrilled your family soaked up those sunrise strolls, balcony views, and a little friendly competition in the game rooms (teens basketball courts = instant vacation win). We also really appreciate you flagging the dryer—and for your flexibility during your stay. We’ve since tested it and confirmed it’s heating right up to about 140°, so it’s doing its job on paper. That said, dryers are only as good as their sidekick—the vent—and in condo buildings that can sometimes be the slowpoke in the story. We’ve reached out to the building’s maintenance team to take a closer look at the venting and help get things moving at full speed again. Thanks again for staying with us and for the kind words—we’d love to host your family again anytime for round two of beach mornings and boardwalk breezes

Great Stay

We had a great stay at Palisade Palms. The condo was very nice. It was well stocked and very clean. The amenities were great. The view was beautiful. I would stay again with no hesitation. My only notes are that the small room with the murphy bed doesn't have a door and the patio door doesn't have shades so that could be an issue if you are planning to use those areas for sleeping. We didn't so it wasn't an issue for us.

We're glad you found the condo to be clean, thank you. While we are sorry the dishwasher broke during your stay, this certainly does not justify a 1-star as result. And while we appreciate it is an inconvenience, it should not have destroyed your stay at this beautiful resort, clean and comfortable condo (as you said) and it's beach and oceanside location. Unfortunately, this is quite disrespectful to the owner of this condo, the building staff and our staff who work very hard to provide guests with this very clean experience. Perhaps, you accidentally clicked on the wrong rating?

Regarding the TV count, while there is only one in the condo itself, the door to the game room with many TVs and services is literally the very next door over from this unit. Very convenient. :)

Overall we did have a nice stay. The location is perfect and the amenities are so nice. My mom owns a unit here so we have stayed in several units when we visit her.Upon check in the unit was not very thoroughly cleaned. There was some sort of blood stain drip on the side of the bathtub which was gross. The balcony was super dirty. The washer and dryer is ancient and did not dry our clothes without having

As for the condo's cleanliness, we would have gladly sent our housekeeping partner back over had we known. We take clean seriously, and we're sorry you were disappointed. As for the bathtub, we suspect this was most likely a bug who met their demise. Occasionally, they sneak in through the balcony door and seek out water locations like bathrooms & kitchens. As for the balcony, we're not sure what exactly was dirty, (Palisades does not allow us to have a spigot to spray it off given the condos and people below), but we'll definitely pass along your feedback. Regarding the washer & dryer, we aren't aware of any issues, but we will have our maintenance manager check them out. Thank you for allowing us to host you, Belle.

Beautiful time 2023

This condo is great! Right down the hall from the game room and exactly what we needed at night for our group! Palisade Palms is a beautiful property with great amenities. Great pools and hot tubs and easy access to the beach. We did not find pool/beach towels reception said was in the room. Murphy bed has a weak leg and couldn’t work the 2nd BR fan remote. Other than that it was amazing! We will stay again!

Just the beach

This was a fabulous condo. Will definitely book again. Only draw back was the parking pass was not available at the front desk. They told us to contact the property management company. So, I did. They said it was the front desk. I quit asking. It’s my vacation, I paid good money- everything I paid for should be available without hassle.

Beautiful blue views from every window

We loved the 3rd floor location with its quick beach and pool accessibility. We’ve stayed on higher floors, but enjoyed the feeling of being closer to the ocean waves and pool vibes in this unit. It is elegantly appointed with updated interiors, furniture and decor. The Murphy Bed in the den gave it a 3rd-bedroom feel with a half bath just across the hall. The balcony is a nice size with plenty of room for the two relaxing rocking chairs and outdoor dining table with 4 cushioned chairs. We loved drinking coffee in the mornings on the balcony and it was also a hang-out for our sunset wind-down refreshments. Building management does a nice job of mosquito control on the property. Bring mosquito repellent for your evening beach walks outside the grounds though. We loved this condo!

A Vacation at the Beach Without Water

We had 5 days to spend on this vacation. After a long day of travel we woke up to no electricity or water in the condo. This was the state of things until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. The next day they actually scheduled for the water to be off. It was off the entire day until 7 in the evening. How do you go to the beach without water?? We ended changing plans to accommodate the water situation. Also the dishwasher didn't work. When we reported it the front desk said they didn't deal with that. We would have to tell "them" whoever that was. Needless to say for the money -this was not worth it and totally unfair!

We're sorry you were disappointed by being temporarily inconvenienced with the utilities at the building (on an island) requiring attention while staying by the beach and surrounded by the ocean water; however, this is 100% out of the control of the owner of this condo unit and 979. As for the dishwasher, there is a clearly labeled switch in the kitchen that says "dishwasher" that must be in the on position for the dishwasher to power. It was a previous requirement per code. As for the 2-stars, we think that is unfair and unwarranted as well.

Great option except there is NO RESPONSE from the property manager if you need help

We stayed here for a working vacation with two toddlers. Part of the draw was the patio which gave us more room for the littles to play. Our patio door was almost impossible to open. It's a hurricane door (great!) but heavy and poorly maintained (not great!). It took numerous requests and 4 days to have it repaired which also meant that for those 4 days the patio was mostly unusable to us. The property manager: 979 Properties never responded to our pleas for help. I'm posting this review one month past our stay and we still have not heard from 979 Properties despite numerous attempts to contact them. If you can look past the extremely poor customer service and disregard for communication this was a nice property.

Hi Kristina, thank you for allowing us to host your stay. We're so sorry you were disappointed with the response on the patio door. We at 979 actually did respond to you during your stay and also reported the door to building maintenance who handle the exterior doors in hopes they could get it repaired as quickly as possible for you. We are not allowed to adjust or repair them, as you are correct, they are specialty hurricane rated. So glad you liked and enjoyed the experience and place otherwise.

We had a wonderful stay at the Palisade Palms. Our family stayed here for a week. It wasn’t too far from the convention center but it was far enough that we had more quiet when we needed to relax. It was nice to have private beach access since the public beach was so busy. We didn’t have to worry about finding beach parking since we could walk straight down from our pool. This place was much nicer than other places we saw down in Galveston. The pool was also lovely and relaxing. We had only a few issues in our specific condo. The ice machine in the refrigerator did not dispense. The dryer did not work well. It took 8 hrs to dry towels so we didn’t take the risk of washing any clothes. Also, the unit only allowed for 2 key fobs which was hard if we wanted to split up. The complex requires a key fob to use the elevators, enter the pool area, game room, as well as re-entry to the lobby from the beach or pool. So, if my husband took the little kids to the beach with one key, the rest of us had to stay together with the other key. My teenager wanted to go shower while I was at the pool, so I had no key to get back up to the room until she came back to get me. We managed but it was tricky at times. The property management company was awesome and very responsive. Hopefully, the unit owners will allow future renters to get a 3rd key fob if needed. Overall, we had a great experience! Very clean, safe and lots amenities!

We’re so glad your family had a wonderful week at Palisade Palms and that you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, private beach access, and relaxing pool—those are definitely some of the highlights that make this location so special. We really appreciate you sharing the feedback about the key fob limitations and a few of the maintenance items in the unit. The washer and dryer were replaced (brand new) on June 17, so perhaps it was a dryer setting? We've passed along the ice machine concerns to the owner. Regarding the key fobs, we completely understand how only having two made it tricky to split up your group at times. We wish it were simpler, but over time we've found that additional fobs often get lost or are hard to keep track of during vacations—plus, they’re quite expensive to replace. That said, we’re always open to suggestions and hope a better solution can be worked out in the future. Thank you again for your kind words about our 979 crew—it truly means a lot to us. We’re so glad you had a great experience overall and hope to welcome you back to the island again soon!

Bare bones condo

Apple TV - couldn’t figure it out No other tv’s in bedrooms Too small trash can in kitchen No clocks in bedrooms No floor mat in guest bath Hot pads in kitchen would be nice Have you heard of the dollar store Also the previous tenants complaints on kitchen necessities was not addressed. Need some microwave bowls among other things. Drew went above & beyond on trying to resolve TV issues! Tried to come back Saturday night while we were out & front desk had given us all the keys. Installed new TV while we were at breakfast but we had issues when we got home & took over 3 hrs to finally be able to watch tv but still not a good choice on channels. Luckily a friend gave us access to YouTube TV. Plus we were stuck inside due to Beta, so needed tvs to watch. You need to get cable & get rid of Apple TV for a rental property. This is just a bare bones rental property that I will never book again. Even though Palasides Palms is a fantastic property. Just need to pick a different condo. Property management company was great. I believe it’s the owner that is not interested in making the condo the best it can be.

Hi Lisa, thanks so much for your feedback and staying with us and appreciate you noting Drew's efforts. This is a newer addition and the owner is actually quite receptive to suggestions. In fact, they have already acted on yours. :). There is a full on and large game room with multiple TVs and various services literally right next door to this condo. Did you get a change to use it? I haven't heard anyone complain of it being busy. Regardless, I'm sorry the TV experience was frustrating.

We had the best vacation! The property was exactly as advertised, very clean, and the staff were all very professional and helpful. We really appreciated the welcome basket with dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel & more! The beds were very comfortable! The location was amazing, 3rd floor overlooking the pool & beach. Loved sitting on the patio with a drink & listening to the waves. Once the patio door was closed we couldn’t hear any of the activity at the pools. Having direct access to the beach was very convenient. The location is minutes from the busy tourist areas and the beach was clean & free of crowds. Absolutely loved the amenities! The pools, spas, & pool furniture were cleaned & maintained daily! Pool & beach toys were provided. The kids really enjoyed the game room. Highly recommend this condo and we will definitely be back!

Exactly what we needed

Our stay was perfect. The condo was exactly how it looked in all of the pictures. We felt as though we were in a classy resort. All of the rooms had the most gorgeous view of the golf and right over the stunning pool. This came in handy for us because the kids wanted to swim at all hours. The game room which was right next door to our unit was very fun for the the whole family to go play in. It was only minutes from anything you wanted, food, shops, tours. I would 100% recommend staying in this condo and we hope to come back in the future.

Excellent stay

This was our third time staying at Palisade Palms, but our first time in this rental. Palisade Palms is an exceptional condo community. The pool and access to the private beach area are the best. The views from the balconies are wonderful. This unit was clean, and nicely furnished. The layout with the extra small sleeper couch in the master and the Murphy bed in the office/extra area are perfect for families. The kitchen was well-appointed, and we cooked several meals. The location is also ideal for quick trips to downtown activities and restaurants. The property management group 979 was easy to work with and provided all necessary information and documents. We can’t wait to come back!!

Fabulous Condo on the Beach!

We loved this condo! It was beautiful inside with stunning views of the gulf from every room! Our kids (6 and 8) loved the quick and easy access to the ping pong and Billard rooms. The pool was so nice that we were poolside daily and made use of the spas as well as the larger pool areas, everyone we met was so friendly! The beds were very comfortable!! Everything was extremely clean even the outdoor patio was very clean! Well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook a meal and we made use of the washer/dryer too! We will definitely stay here again!
