Beautiful Condo with Peace and Quiet!!!

1st I have only good things to say for my family and I, but one thing is more important because it’s a safety concern. I love the neighborhood, the lighting is poor when it comes to locating your unit after hours. There are a lot of dips and potholes that you could potentially hit if turning around. The Condo numbers should be Illuminated to be Locate your unit. Location is peaceful and serene. This unit was perfect for my family, felt like home. We just had a hard time locating with the directions we were given at the gate. It was way too long and too Dark out to find anything. Everything else Overall 5/5

My Stay

My stay was nice and quiet. The villa is located in a nice community and just a few steps away from a beautiful lake and marina. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Please be careful

This property is not very safe! What the photos don’t show is that you have to go up a flight of stairs to get into the place. The railing is feeble. This was kind of irritating considering one of our friends just had ankle surgery and was using a cane. All of the floors in the property are uneven. The spiral staircase inside of the place (that leads to the loft with two twin beds) is terrifying. The whole thing wiggles and shakes when you go up. There’s a guest book in the condo that has addressed the stairs issue as early as 2008 and is mentioned in almost every entry. The tubs are both very slick and the rod handle in the guest shower literally comes out of the wall. It will offer no help for stability. There’s some sort of construction going on at the lot right behind the condo. They fire up the backhoes and heavy equipment at 8 am every day. Including weekends and Labor Day. Make sure you get food before you go as there’s no way to have anything delivered since they don’t actually give you the address of the condo (the address your given is to the front gate). The property itself reflects the price. It’s a low end place but does the job considering the amount of people you can fit in there. Plus there’s no deposit. The resort itself is very nice. Note that the Marina Restaurant closes it’s kitchen at 10 even though the place closes at 11. We enjoyed watching the sunset at the lake. It’s a very secluded area with a lot of winding roads that were fun to drive.

Beautiful area. Far away

We enjoyed all the space and privacy this unit has. We came to visit family in the Carrollton area. Had no idea how far away the unit was. Especially from the main gate. Not close to stores. Beautiful location and lake. Best to stay here if you want to stay on property and enjoy the accommodations. WI-FI password never worked while we were there. Decor was very dated. The Master bathroom shower had very disappointing water pressure and didn’t like the many mirrors. Not a good conversion of a garden bath into a shower!

Great Rental in beautiful Resort community

This rental was very spacious for our 4-person group. The eclectic old southern decor was charming. The property was quiet, felt safe and ultra relaxing. The one thing of note was the screened-in balconies could have used cleaning prior to arrival. However, we assumed this is due to the outside elements of nature. Regardless, our stay was fantastic and we expect to make many return visits.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairfield Plantation. The cottage was comfortable. The air conditioner worked well. These homes are old and some things are outdated. The kitchen is not very well stocked. All we cooked was breakfast and it was a challenge. The wifi was pretty much non-existent. You have to depend on one of the other units and use their name, even at that it was bad. We would stay again if we have a hotspot to get online.

Location, location, location

We used this stay as a home base to visit Six flags for multiple days. It was only 30 minutes to the park. We could also relax at the lake or pool on property, which is perfect after a hot day on roller coasters.

I really enjoyed my stay! Everything was very nice and clean. The only negative was there wasn’t any smart TVs and we were stuck inside do to weather. Everything else was great.

Perfect getaway

We were so pleased with our stay. We had thought the listing said 2 bed/1bath but we were thrilled to find a master with full bath and another full bedroom and bath, and then a loft with 2 more beds. Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed walking by the lake, grabbing a casual dinner at the marina, and having the kitchen and fireplace to stay in one night. We took our kids to Six Flags, which was very close by. Can’t wait to come back in the warmer months to use the lake.

Great place

We had a great time here. The community is beautiful and the pools are so clean and nice. There’s a greta walking trail and wonderful beach. Our kids loved it here. The cleanliness of the unit wasn’t the best and we addressed that with management so hopefully it’s better for the next guest! We’d stay again though it really is very Nice!

Amazing Retreat!

My family stayed at the villa for my niece's wedding. It held our party of 8 comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a loft and pullout sofa. The pictures did not capture the size nor the quaintness of this villa. The villa was actually larger than what we thought. We truly enjoyed our home away from home! From the main entrance, it was a several minutes to villa as this is a large community. The beautiful lake is across the street and the marina is a short walk.

Great stay!

We stayed here for 4 nights while attending a horse show. It was extremely clean, provided everything needed and was very safe.
