Super cute and clean house! And only a short drive into town. It had a great mountain view and you could hear the river from the property.

The photos do not do this place justice. The location is magical and it was perfect for our little family of three to stay in for Thanksgiving.

The hot tub issue you noted was a simple setting adjustment—switching it from sleep mode back to standard—which we would have been happy to help with right away. The property was wonderful. However, there are bad forest fires nearby and poor air quality…very poor. I am actually surprised people are encouraged to visit during wildfires. I tried to cancel and the company would not budge, which was tough with a family member with asthma. In this time of more wildfires, YOU MUST get insurance in order to cancel. There were no exceptions. At an expensive rental, this is a lot of money to lose. We came but had to stay inside mostly. (But we want to be clear that the property was amazing... just get insurance so you can cancel for wildfires.)

We enjoyed a nice, relaxing stay at the Icicle Chalet. The property was perfectly located for our interests in visiting the Bavarian Village in Leavenworth and hiking around the Icicle Creek area. Although it was hot and dry for much of our time there (late June), the A/C kept us quite comfortable. And we could sit and stare at the view from the front deck for hours. We didn't lack for anything we needed for our stay. It's also nice to find good, quality properties that are pet-friendly and we were very thankful for that. Overall, Leavenworth (including several of the shops and restaurants with outdoor seating) is exceptionally welcoming to well-behaved dogs!

Late‑June heat can be no joke, so it’s great to hear the A/C kept things comfortable and that you were able to enjoy those gorgeous deck views for hours. We’re also really happy the home had everything you needed and that the pet‑friendly setup made your trip easier. Leavenworth truly is one of the most welcoming places for well‑behaved pups, and it’s wonderful you got to experience that.
