Could be great, some big misses which
Property is as presented and in great condition. Just a couple of issues with our stay that made the experience less than ideal. Firstly, internet was not available as advertised, no internet at all for the duration of our 2 night stay. The TV has no antenna and is set up as a smart TV which was useless for the entirety of our stay. Property management were contacted and as we were staying over a weekend, we were advised it could not be resolved, which frankly isnât acceptable.The property has a galley style kitchen, which is equiped with appliances that are more than suitable. However, the lack of appropriate cookware made the induction cooktop and oven redundant. Two frying pans and the worldâs smallest saucepan were the extent of the cookware provided. I would expect more when a full kitchen is provided. There was a missing plate and a cracked plate that was too dangerous to use. This made feeding more than 2 people at a time a challenge, with bedding for 4, sufficient crockery should be supplied.Finally, there is insufficient seating for meals. 3 stools are provided, again with sleeping for 4 this is a pretty large miss.The amount charged for this stay was one of the more expensive available in the area and unfortunately the experience didnât meet the expectations based on the features advertised and the amount charged.The issues we experienced can be easily rectified and the property could be a highlight in downtown Invercargill.
