Lovely spot! Very peaceful and private amongst the trees, all just a few minutes walk from the village. Great place to relax and unwind, watching the sun come up from the deck. Very well kept, clean, cozy and a super comfortable bed.

We loved this property, it was everything we were looking for. Great size for two people, stunning views and morning light, comfortable amenities, and great access to Titirangi village. Hosts were friendly and accomodating, we left something special of ours behind but they allowed us to come back the same day to retrieve it. We would come back to this place in a heartbeat!

The cottage in the trees was so lovely and peaceful. A clean and fresh decor, cosy and warm with everything you would need, with a fantastic porch to enjoy the sunshine, trees and bird life. The village was just a walk to the end of the road, lots of lovely eateries for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So much to do in the area and close by. We hope to return again to enjoy the accommodation and explore the surroundings more.

Lots to like here: clean, refurbished studio, nicely furnished and equipped. Easy walk to Titirangi village with shopping and restaurants and the Zig Zag nature trail. Comfortable bed, nice views of surrounding forest. Negatives for us were the long stairs down from the street level - tough for us older folks with bad knees and heavy suitcases - and the noise during the night from debris falling from the trees overhead during the night on the metal roof. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and sorry the steps were a challenge for you. The tree fall from the Kauri has been quite bad over the last couple of weeks - Kauri tend to drop their cones around March and they can be quite loud on the metal roof - for most of the year you wouldn't hear a thing. Hopefully it didn't disturb you too much.

Great location, just a short walk to the huge variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and galleries on the main road (we recommend Village Kebab). Cabin is cozy and well appointed with kitchen appliances tucked away, a clean bathroom, and good wifi. The path through the garden to the cabin is whimsical and memorable. The forest views were so relaxing and provided great birdwatching opportunity with the ruru owls at night being a novelty for us.Our only very minor suggestion would be the inclusion of some proper winter blankets as it got quite cold overnight (we stayed late autumn) and the heater is too loud to sleep with it on. Overall we had a lovely time and wish we had stayed longed!

Idyllic location in the trees. Very accommodating host. Five-minute walk to small shopping area with half a dozen restaurants. Room itself is nice but very small; we were traveling with a lot of luggage and felt cramped. Path from covered parking to room is steep and not really suited for dragging all those bags up and down. We'd love to stay again when we were traveling with a normal amount of luggage.
