The condo was clean and a good place to sleep. Scaffolding was installed up to the level of the balcony railing and covered with plywood on our first day. The host told us it was not supposed to be installed for 3 weeks, yet offered no accommodation for the the loss of peace or view. Unit needs work to be fully brought up to modern standards.

Host was very prompt responding to messages and even allowed a bit of an early check in. Good location close to Ala Moana Mall and beach. Bedroom a bit crowded with an oversized bed frame but still was comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to accommodate 4-6 people. Very happy with our stay.

Fantastic stay for families!This place had everything we needed and more. The unit was stocked with all the essentials—great kitchen appliances that made family dinners easy, plus everything you could want for beach days: chairs, an umbrella, towels, and more. The view is absolutely beautiful, and the location couldn’t be better for getting around quickly.The building’s security was solid and appreciated. The only small thing we’d love to see added in the future is a deadbolt on the door, just for that extra touch of peace of mind. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay, and we’d absolutely book again.

Great location and great view

This was a perfect place to stay in Oahu. Beach access, beach view, place was nice, had a nice kitchen, easy to walk around downtown. Would stay again.

Great stay in Oahu!

Aloha, we enjoyed our time on Oahu! Arvis communicated well and our needs were met. I think the condo was as described and excepted. So many things to see in walking distance. We rented a car to explore the island and parking over night was a bit expensive, but I was expecting that. Over all great trip and stay, we enjoyed all the things! Mahalo

Made for an easy, smooth vacation

We stayed here for our first vacation, and loved it! Location is beautiful and in the center of just about everything. Owner is very quick to respond when needed. overall this vrbo just made for a very smooth vacation! Will definitely book again if i come back!

Our property mgr, Arvydas, was very responsive and helpful in locating another condo. The furnishings in the unit we started in need attention and tge bed frames are an impediment

I'll start with the positive - the view was great and the host was very responsive! Also the onsite parking was a plus. That said, the unit itself left a lot to be desired. We have stayed in the islands many times and never had issues like we had here. The furniture in the living room was dirty and had an odor, one piece appears to have been a cat's best friend prior to coming to live in this unit. (My husband is highly allergic to cats so this was an issue. When I mentioned it to the host he assured us that no cats had been in the unit; however, based on the condition of the oversized chair it definitely appears that a cat had access to it prior to being moved into the unit.) The kitchen only had 5 forks and no dish towels so we went to Walmart initially to get supplies and when I mentioned the forks to the host he brought more. We also had to ask for more towels. We had issues with cockroaches and the host send an exterminator out. The west lanai doors did not open and therefore had no access, and 2 of the 3 light bulbs above the table did not work. While the unit does have 2 bed/2 bath it is better suited for a family and not 2 couples as privacy is an issue as well as storage for your stuff. The unit could use a deep clean as I also had allergy issues that cleared up as soon as we left the room and returned once we were back. My mom cleaned the A/C filters which helped some but I still had issues. We will be staying at previous locations we have used in the future.

ILikai Apartment

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Property owner was very easy to communicate with - even late evening and early morning when we thought we had no lighting (check the dimmers). Check in was seamless and apartment well looked after. Thank you. We will return!!

Ilikai Stay

The Ilikai is a great location. The unit that we used had many windows with a great harbor view. The space worked well with our family. Large living space and open kitchen. The lani was roomy and gave us afternoon sun. Close walk to the lagoon and beach. Easy walk to many restaurants and ABC Stores. The Ilikai had great grounds, two pools and live music on Sunday! We enjoyed our stay.

Another great stay

I have come to Waikiki for the last 2 winters for work, and this time stayed for 8 weeks. I have stayed in two different units but managed by the same person (Arvis) and he is a great property manager in that he is response promptly if there are any issues and does his best to rectify any issues. Our stay was not perfect due to elevator issues, but was not the fault of the owners of the unit. I will be back next year for another 2 months and hopefully Arvis has another unit open for me!! Thank you Arvis!!

Great location, but kind of dirty

This is right by the beach and in a great location, but the stay was kind of dirty. The bedding on the pullout couch was not cleaned, and there was a lot of dirt under the rug. Also, dishes cleaned by the dishwasher smelled bad. We had a 15% discount because it was a new listing, so it was a good value after we cleaned up a bit.

Perfect vacation spot for Mid-winter break with Grandparents and Grandkids

Nicely laid out condo with master bedroom and full bath on the far end for privacy. Grandkids enjoyed their own room with accordion sliding door. AC was sufficient, Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items we needed and complimentary coffee was appreciated. Each morning we ate breakfast on the lanai which overlooks the terrace and yacht club with the ocean in the background. Easy access to the swimming pool but a little walk (approx. 15 minutes) to the ocean; we went to Ala Moana park for ocean swimming with the grandkids. Valet was very quick retrieving the car and worth the price. Owner responded quickly to our questions/concerns. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Great location, older building

Great location, convenient of having full kitchen helps with saving some money on eating out. It is an older building so sound from outside is loud. Expect car noise and people partying outside. Building has cockroaches. There are traps everywhere, we ran into the pest guy he says he treats building once a week. Our stay was 11 days we had to have our place redone while there as we kept finding live bugs in our kitchen and bathroom.

Very nice place to stay with a great location.

If you're looking for a place for a family or small group while on O'ahu, this VRBO has a lot to offer. In the historic Ilikai Hotel, you are close to the beach, shopping, and food. You will need transportation so nice it's at the some th end of the island, but you can get about anywhere in an hour. Host provides a couple beach towels (we brought our own anyway), bedding, bath towels, a hair dryer, vacuum, and essential kitchen items. If there was anything else, we didn't see or use it. The AC units cool the rooms down nicely. The beds and pillows are more comfortable than I expected. The fold out couch only sleeps 1, son our son had to sleep on the couch. The room location is great. On the third floor, you can take the stairs if needed and you have a beautiful view of the marina and ocean.

Our stay in Waikiki

This unit has potential but needs more information in the listing and more amenities within the unit. Location is nice, close to a couple of family friendly beaches. Both pools were great (towels provided) but closed early. Lots of shops are nearby, but although you have a kitchen there isn’t a place close to get groceries. Plan on making a stop before heading to Waikiki. If you have a car, plan on paying for parking and valet. There were some fun events in the Ilikai, hula show, live music and fireworks on Friday (could be seen from the bar area just below). It was nice to be on the 3rd floor, since the elevator was very busy and took much longer than expected. 
It should be noted that there isn’t a washer and dryer in the unit, but on the floor and is a pay machine. The furniture was nice and you can tell that the unit was recently updated with appliances and renovation, but it has not been well maintained. It was very dirty when we arrived. Couches, light switches, towels, showers, toilets and bath mats all looked and felt dirty. It says it sleeps 6, but one of the couches is a twin bed, and the other sleeping spot is on the couch. It was fine for our kids, but an adult would probably be uncomfortable. There was one boogie board at the unit and a couple old rusty chairs that we opted to not take to the beach. Overall, I wish we would’ve opted for hotel stay rather than a condo at this location. The owner was very responsive and helpful.
