We really enjoyed the layout of the 2 houses and the large yards! Nicely decorated and very comfortable. We would stay here again!

I REALLY want to give this property 5 stars. The property and location were great. The yard was well maintained and we used the patio every day. The ample parking was great as we had 3 cars and trailered a boat for our stay. The road was a little busy, but because of the location, drivers slowed down as they passed the house.We loved the house and cottage and thought they were nicely decorated. We did have to leave one family member behind as the staircases were rather steep and not ideal for someone with balance issues. My 77 year old mother had to sleep on a couch so she could have overnight access to a bathroom on the same floor. This was the biggest downfall of the property, aside from one of the bathrooms (the only one on the same floor as the sleeping quarters, where the door did not close.The kitchen was nicely equipped and we spent hours around the dining table eating and playing games. The A/C was just what we needed as we stayed during a very hot week. Access to the beach was easy with a 20 visitor parking fee. The property included beach chairs that were practically new, comfortable and easy to transport.Check in and out was straight forward. Trash was confusing as we knew the pickup days, but we're not sure whether to bring it to the end of the driveway or not.

It sounds like you made the most of your stay! We’re also glad the ample parking, kitchen setup, and A/C helped make your visit comfortable during the warm week. We truly appreciate your feedback about the stairs and bathroom door. You’re absolutely right about the steep staircases that can be tricky for guests with mobility or balance challenges. We’re sorry this made things difficult for your mother, and we’ll make sure the listing description highlights this more clearly so future guests can plan accordingly. We’ll also have our maintenance team take a look at the bathroom door to ensure it’s closing properly. Thank you as well for noting the trash pickup confusion. We will update our guest guide to make those instructions clearer. The property is conveniently located in Harwich. It is a beautiful property and we enjoyed the outdoor seating often during our stay. Both the main house and the cottage have exceptionally steep staircases which will be challenging for older folks or others with mobility issues. The bathroom in the cottage is upstairs while the bedrooms are downstairs. The shower in this bathroom is quite small and larger folks might have difficulty. I'm 6'2" and 240lbs and it was a tight squeeze. In the main house, the bathroom with the shower is downstairs while both bedrooms are upstairs. There is a bath upstairs with a tub, but no shower. The water to the tub was not working. The beds were quite comfortable and there were plenty of towels and other linens. The furniture in both the main house and cottage was nice and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were easy and communication with the property manager was excellent. The only problem we experienced was a bee infestation in an upstairs bedroom in the main house. Owner will need to address this problem as the bees were inside an exterior wall and had found their way out int the bedroom. We contacted the property manager to report the bee problem but never heard back. Thankfully, we had less than 24 hrs until checkout. Lastly, I find it curious there are so few reviews for this property with this one being the first from 2026.
