The place was very cute and clean. I enjoyed the privacy - it's tucked neatly in the woods. Erin is a very reaponsive host and I appreciated that. I would definitely stay again in the future.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at the bunkie2. It was the perfect little getaway in the woods—quiet, cozy, and just what we needed to unplug. The hosts really thought of all the basics, which made it easier and comfortable while still keeping that off-grid charm. We left feeling refreshed and already can’t wait to go back!

Small, the bathroom is an outhouse.There was no air movement at night. The windows didn't open. The lights inside and outside didn't work. The water what water. The BQQ and I would not use it bring your own. The hammocks not sure how long they were hanging there. The only thing we enjoyed using was the fireplace.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations. Woodlore Acres offers a rustic, off-grid experience, which is part of what makes it unique. As outlined in our listing, the bunkies do not have electricity, running water, traditional indoor bathrooms or conventional lighting. The private outhouse, water provided in jugs, and solar lights/lanterns are all part of the experience, and guests are encouraged to review the listing details before booking so they know what to expect. While the windows do not open, the door has a mesh screen that can be left open to allow for airflow while keeping insects out. The BBQ and outdoor amenities are provided for guests to enjoy, and we're sorry they weren't to your liking. We're glad you were at least able to enjoy the firepit. We appreciate all feedback and wish you well in your future travels.

Bunkie No.2 was our second stay, a little shorter then out last but well enjoyed.The big hinged doors at the back really brought in a lovely breeze throughout the day and night. Was perfect for watching the wildlife and really feeling like we were connected with the forest. By far my favorite spot and bunkie!!Everything we need is quick drive away, fire wood was plentiful and for a good price provided by the host. Absolutely lovely location and space! Will be booking again
