Just 5 minutes` drive from the centre of town, Matakauri House is perfectly placed to make the most of Queenstown. This four-bedroom retreat features stylish interiors, two living areas with fireplaces and a wet bar. Lounge in the walled garden by the outdoor fire, fire up the BBQ, or sink into the year-round heated plunge pool and watch the sun drop behind the mountains.

Just 5 minutes` drive from the centre of town, Matakauri House is perfectly placed to make the most of Queenstown. This four-bedroom retreat features stylish interiors, two living areas with fireplaces and a wet bar. Lounge in the walled garden by the outdoor fire, fire up the BBQ, or sink into the year-round heated plunge pool and watch the sun drop behind the mountains.
You will receive exclusive access to the whole property including the spa pool and garden.
We are located off-site and like to give our guests space to enjoy their home-away-from-home, but we`re only a phone call away should you need assistance or would like to book activities during your stay.
Queenstown offers an array of experiences from bungy jumps and jet boats, to wine tasting and scenic tours.
Travel Directions are sent closer to Check-in date.
Children are welcome as part of the maximum number of guests. This house can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests per booking (including all adults, children and infants) - additional guests are not permitted.
Please note: Matakauri House is equipped with exterior-facing security cameras, and Minut technology to monitor excessive noise and gatherings. This property has fans but no air conditioning.
All children and infants are included in the total guest count - maximum number of guests should not exceed that specified on this listing, including all infants. Any bookings made exceeding the maximum number of guests will be cancelled.
A refundable security deposit will be charged to your card prior to your check in. This is a MajorDomo requirement of booking. The deposit value is usually equivalent to the cost of 1 night - we will advise you of the exact figure in your confirmation email.
As your villa is also a private home, we have strict policies around the use of the property. Should you be thinking of inviting external guests or hosting a function, party, or gathering at the villa, we require that you first obtain our permission.
