Property was amazing! Check in and out were simple and effective. Location was great everything we wanted to do in town was within 10min. Definitely will return next time I am in town.

What an incredible experience!This beautiful log home is close to everything, restaurants, shopping, lakes and an abundance of wildlife in the surrounding forests. This is a wonderful log home perfect to entertain and impress friends.

Great rental cabin! Clean and well-equipped. Easy to contact the property owner/manager by text for a fast response. Our group really enjoyed this property. One note - Oven worked great! But induction cooktop did not work well with all of the cookware provided.

Let me start by stating that this is the most difficult review I've written. I have rented through VRBO for years and never had a problem with how a property was portrayed in the listing compared to what I arrived to find. The main objective of this trip was to escape the higher temperature in home area and enjoy the lower temperature this area typically offers. We chose the property as the backyard area seemed to offer a serene atmosphere to do so with trees for shade. WELL that all changed when we pulled up. On arrival we realized the property wasn't as pictured in the listing. We contacted the owner to voice our concerns. The owner explained that they had recently done extensive landscaping due to an beetle infestation which required trees to be cut down but they had left the job incomplete due to lack of time. There were piles of branches, scattered fallen branches and timber throughout the entire backyard, as well as the stumps they hadn't removed and weed growth. The background was NOT the serene place shown through pictures, but a safety hazard and essentially unusable. There was no place to enjoy the outdoors, as even the front porch view, was of a neighbors front yard which was littered with a washer, multiple cars, a dumpster and discarded "trash" items. Serenity was nowhere to be found! Owner didn't seem concerned "as the inside if the home was nice." However we paid to enjoy their entire property which we were not able too. Beware, hope it's cleaned before you.

We're sorry the property did not meet your expectations. Shortly before your arrival, several trees had to be removed due to a beetle infestation, and despite our efforts, we were unable to complete all of the cleanup before your stay. We responded promptly to your concerns, worked with Evolve to provide a full reimbursement and alternative accommodations, and explained the unexpected circumstances. Since then, the landscaping work has been completed, and the outdoor areas have been fully restored. We appreciate the opportunity to provide this additional context for future travelers.
