Goldilocks Cabin in the Pines

Escape the heat and retreat to Goldilocks cozy cabin in the Pines. This quaint cabin is located in Lakeside, AZ. Conveniently nestled between Show Low and Pinetop. This cabin has a secluded feel and is just minutes from all the conveniences and adventures you could imagine in the White Mountains. A little back story: This cabin has recently obtained new owners so if you have seen it listed here before or have even had the pleasure of staying previously, it’s still the same 5 star rated cabin, but with new owners. Actually, we, the new owners, stayed here when it was still listed as a vacation rental under the old owners, 2 years ago. We loved it so much we decided to buy it when it came up for sale. Now, we want to continue to share the love we found for our little cabin in the pines with all of you!

Overall was a great stay and we would definitely stay again, they had everything we needed. It was very clean. The only draw back was the fencing is chain linked, the house behind has 6 dogs that bark. We brought our dogs hoping to relax in the backyard and due to our dogs being able to see the other dogs, it wasn’t possible. However, we were able to go once it was dark and let them run around. But again, overall was a nice lil spot for the weekend.

House and Kylie are amazing!! From the minute we arrived we felt right at home. House had everything we needed to make our weekend special. Couches and beds were extremely comfortable which made the stay even better. The fenced in yard was perfect for the pups and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck taking in the beautiful surroundings. Thank you for sharing your home and we can't wait to come back.

I think we have stayed here 5 or 6 times over the last 7 years. I love the additions over the last few visits including the woodpecker couple that entertained us with their hoarding. They were respectful which is a delight. Our stay at Goldilocks Cabin in the Pines was nothing short of relaxing. The cabin itself is warm, welcoming, and well maintained and well cared for. It's cozy enough to feel like a private retreat, yet spacious enough to be completely comfortable. Every detail, from the well-stocked kitchen to the inviting living spaces, made us feel right at home. My only request is to update the toaster and coffee maker. Their quirky :-) What truly set this place apart was the setting. Nestled among towering pine trees, the cabin is surrounded by peaceful nature, where the only sounds are the breeze through the trees and the occasional birdsong. Mornings were especially serene, sipping coffee on the porch while the sun filtered softly through the pines. Evenings by the fire felt calm and restorative, the perfect way to end a long summer.This cabin offered the best mix of comfort and tranquility, for us and our pup giving us the chance to fully relax and recharge. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and we will happily return again!

Our stay at Goldilocks Cabin was great! The cabin is actually better than the pictures depict. The beds are comfortable, the couch and loveseat are comfortable, both with recliners. The cabin and yard are very dog friendly, the backyard is fenced and the grounds are safe. Our dogs loved lying on the back patio keeping an eye on everything while we were sitting outside enjoying the cool mornings. They even have a dog bed available that our dogs loved. We will definitely return here for our next stay in Pinetop.

Really enjoyed our stay at Goldilocks Cabin in the Pines. Very cozy & in a quiet neighborhood. Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Fenced back yard was ideal for our 10 lb morkie to enjoy. Just wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Dog friendly cabin in quiet neighborhood

This cozy cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood. The nicely fenced, large backyard is perfect for travelers with dogs. Plus it is really nice to have a VRBO with a doggie door! The front and back porches provide comfortable places to hang out and enjoy the fresh air. The cabin has a well functioning air conditioner making it very comfortable in the summer.

Great Getaway!

Property is perfectly located, so close to everything but with the enormous backyard with trees, it feels relaxed and remote at the same time. Very pet friendly.House was spacious and very clean, everything we were looking for and as advertised. Highly recommend especially if you have dogs. It is such a welcoming property.

Perfect

Our weekend was absolutely perfect. The cabin was cozy and inviting. The fireplace was a definite bonus. The yard was very big and had plenty of space for our two pups to run around in. We will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful time of year to be in Show Low!

Everything was wonderful! Wonderful weather and our dog enjoyed sleeping on the back porch in the cool weather. It was a fantastic vacation, very relaxing!

Great location!

The cabin was comfortable. I and my dog loved the cooler weather! The owners were easy to deal with, very responsive. The location was ideal for long walks with the dog yet still easy to get to most things in town.

Great Northern Getaway

The back yard is great for pets and kids, fully fenced and lots of shady trees. The house is small, but ample for a group of 4 or 5. It is very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible, not far from Walmart and the Hospital. The host is very responsive to any needs and is easy to communicate with. We will definitely return possibly next summer.

Great quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful house for people with dogs, large fenced yard with dog door. Love the neighborhood with all the big tall trees. We’ve stayed here at least 4-5 times over the years and will keep coming back for sure.

Relaxing place to decompress and enjoy the weather

My partner and I along with our 3 standard poodles stayed at this location for 4 nights and we loved it. The location is very close to everything you need for supplies but still feels tucked away from everything. The yard is huge and my dogs loved it. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants their fur baby to have an awesome time as well.

A little bit of heaven

My husband and I have stayed here before and it is so wonderful. Everything was just perfect. The woodpeckers and squirrels were getting ready for Winter. We saw wild turkeys and white tailed deer. We will return again.

Arizonians by choice, not by origin. With roots from the mountains to the sea we settled in Arizona because we just love all that our state has to offer in way of diversity. You can go from the desert to the snow in a matter of a few short hours. Contrary to popular belief, there is a lot of water to be enjoyed as well. Pinetop-Lakeside is one of our favorite places so we decided to call it one of our homes! In turn, we'd like to share that home with you!
