Nice value

Fine. This is not a luxurious space, but was clean and comfortable at a reasonable rate. We especially liked having the restaurants so close (a 1-minute walk). No noise issues, either. Our reserved parking spaces were always open, another nice feature.

Accurate Listing - Great Location -

I would recommend this location. One thing that made it really good for me was that the host provided laundry sheets for drying clothes and pods for washing clothes. Location is as listed. The area walkability is also very high. I was able to wake up each morning and walk down to the Davis Island Trail. Beautiful views of the airport and water on the walk. Area felt safe.

Perfect Location

Overall we were happy wuth our stay at Stacy's place. We booked it because of the location because it's easy to walk to restaurants and is right at a stop for the Pirate Taxi. The kitchen had good appliances but was missing some basics like salt, pepper, and sugar. Also be aware that both beds are double beds and the only coffee maker is a Kuerig. The TV, AC and washer/dryer were great.

Great area!

Davis Island has such a laid back vibe. Great local restaurants. Stacy was so responsive and the apartment was exceptionally clean. I will definitely stay again!

Good value central to downtown area

This was a very affordable stay for a week on Davis Island. We lived in Tampa for dozens of years, so we are very familiar with the area. The property is upstairs, but with a nice back porch overlooking the alley and parking spots. Everything worked as it should. You can walk to coffee shop, breakfast spots, dinner and a couple bars/pubs. We brought bikes and rode the neighborhood areas, airport/park properties and all they way out to the yacht club. Owner was easy to communicate with. The code was wrong to enter, but quickly resolved. Parking is right below the condo, but unfortunately we had a couple vehicles in our assigned spot throughout the week randomly. Luckily the spot next to ours was not being used. Cable TV included along with the streaming access. HVAC worked great. Plenty of space for 2 people. Good value for where it is and what you get.

Great location near downtown Tampa

We enjoyed our weekend stay. This was our first visit to Tampa and the location was great. We walked from downtown Tampa to the apartment at night and it was an easy and safe walk ( about a 35 min walk). We really just slept and showered so did not spend much time in the apartment, but it was enough space for 2 adults. Davis Islands also had restaurants and shops literally down the stairs and across the alley to the main street ( 3 min walk). We would definitely try to stay again if we come back to the area.

Disappointed in the last minute apartment switch

The owner contacted me to switch us to another unit the day of our arrival. I asked if the new unit was the same as the one we rented and she said it was, but newer furniture. I agreed as we were getting on our plane and was rushing. I chose to trust her information. The unit we were moved to was ground level (would not have chosen) & without a balcony or any outside sitting area, which was important to us. The unit we rented must have had renters in it, because we heard them all morning. She told us the unit was new & not listed yet. The broken toilet paper holder & towel rack that fell off the wall were indications as to why it wasn't listed yet. Kitchen was new & clean, but no mugs for coffee. There was dish soap, but no hand soap in the bath. When asked, she said "no toiletries" but that wasn't in the listing. We felt tricked into moving to it. She should have honored our reservation instead of moving us. The worst part was the tiny yapping dog that woke us up each morning before 6am. The dog lived in the next door unit that shared a wall with one bedroom. I tried emailing the owner after we left with my detailed concerns. I never heard back. I followed up a week later and nothing. I hate to leave a negative review, but I'm sure others would not appreciate the bait and switch or the early morning weekend wake up from the tiny dog. I can say the location is close to the main street and walkable to all bars and restaurants. Apt was clean.

Quiet and Perfect Sized!

The pictures don't do this place right! Its perfect sized for my girlfriend, myself and her brother! Perfect walking distance to downtown Tampa! I will definitely stay here again if available when in Tampa! Stacy is amazing host, responds very fast and made my long 18 hour drive from NJ amazing! It was my first time in Florida and was best experience!

Great spot!

We loved it here! Great, clean space! We loved Davis and all the amenities close by. Restaurants within walking distance, private beach, and close to downtown Tampa and Hyde Park. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is well appointed and a short trip to downtown. Biking or rideshre can have you there in moments. The peoperty manager was very responsive and accommodating.

Awesome Location and Accommodations on Davis Islands

I couldn’t recommend this property more! The location on Davis Islands is fantastic- convenient to nice restaurants and shops on the island, and biking and walking trails along the waterfront. Additionally, all of Tampa is within easy reach. The apartment itself also is spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable, and amply equipped. All for much less than you would pay for a hotel room in Tampa. You can’t go wrong! We’ll definitely be back!

Great location downtown Davis Islands

This is a very great small apartment on a second floor in an excellent location in downtown Davis Islands. You’re close to all the restaurants and eating places. We came as guests of the Davis Islands yacht club for a sailing event and it was a nine minute drive to the yacht club, but it was so close to the restaurants and bars that it made a much better experience. The house is decorated in a very nice South American decor with lots of interesting artwork that reminds me for my trips to South America as well. The two bedrooms were complete with queen size beds. The kitchen was very well appointed, and the living room had a nice desk for me to work on during the office sailing days. We will definitely stay here again and next year’s Sailing season.
