Publicité mensongère sale pas de lieu avec les coussins rouges nous avons quitté le jour même. Pas aux normes et très sale.

The renters did not read the instructions and we organized local help, they did not listen and acted quite rude. The inside of the house was totally clean. Their aim was another house anyway. They did not communicated whether they left or not.

Sejour incroyable

Maison parfaite, exterieur arboré et trois terrasses très agréables. Une vue magnifique, on ne s'en lasse pas. Et vu la chaleur la piscine plys qu' appreciable. Le secteur est très beau, de superbes panoramas, de belle villes côtières et de splendides villages blanc dansl es montagnes. Le seul bemol a ce sejour ce sont les matelas des lits pas confortable . Le proprietaire est disponible et bienveillant Nous recommandons sans hesiter

trés agréable villa

Nous avons louer cette maison du 10/07/2015 au 25/07/0215. Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 10 et 13 ans. Les lits sont confortables, la cuisine très bien équipée ainsi que les salles de bains. La piscine est grande et très agréable avec les nombreuses chaises longues et l'ombre des arbres. La douche extérieure est parfaite. Le salon en rotin, le soir nous a aussi permis de profiter du calme. Avec en moyenne 35 à 38° le jour, nous avons apprécié les ventilateurs dans chaque chambre et la climatisation dans le séjour/salon. Nous avons aussi admiré les nuits étoilées sur la terrasse. La vue est superbe et le calme est très agréable. Tout cela se mérite et il faut impérativement une voiture. Nous louons tous les ans une villa dans différents endroits et c'est la 1ère fois que nous trouvons tout sur place: les serviettes de bains, la glacière, la tente de plage, le parasol.... Quand on vient en avion ( ce qui était notre cas) c'est très agréable. Il y avait aussi tous les produits de nettoyage pour la cuisine. Merci aussi pour la disponibilité de Dave ( très sympathique). Je recommande vivement cette villa. Merci aussi à Paul et Alex.

Perfect Stay

Paul´s Villa met all our needs. Quiet and perfectly equipped. Pictures are 100% accurate. The place has all kind of details everywhere. Plenty of space to seat, indoors and outdoors. Beautiful Chill-out zone to enjoy the amazing Competa´s landscape, particularly during the night or in the south terrace with nice views of both sea and mountains. Big pool as well (I believe 4x8 meters). Definitely, a place to get back. We will come back if possible. On the other hand, careful with the GPS. If you use Google Maps to get there you might get lost easily as Competa has a complex and sneaky road network. I recommend to follow Paul´s detailed explanations to make sure you get to the place right away.

Nice quiet villa with decent pool and well kept garden

The villa was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was a good size and the children loved it. There was enough loungers for six people. Plenty of cushions too. The garden was well kept with lots of flowers and there were ripe lemons on the citrus tree. On the down side, the barbecue was broken on arrival, but the owner replaced it with a new one whilst we were there. The washing machine and one of the toilets were not in use. A plumber was arranged but didn't turn up. One of the outside doors separating the dining area from the front pool area was corroded and couldn't be opened. The outside fridge didn't work. These were all minor inconveniences for us and didn't affect our enjoyment of the holiday.

Wir (46/45/20/18Jahre) haben unseren Sommerurlaub in der Finca Andalusia in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Finca ist großzügig angelegt und bietet auch an sehr heißen Tagen immer ein schattiges und angenehmes Fleckchen zum Relaxen. Besondere Highlights waren für uns das Baden im wunderschön Pool und die Abende auf der Dachterrasse unter dem andalusischem Sternenhimmel. Der Kontakt mit unseren Vermietern hat sehr gut funktioniert. Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub!

Charming Villa in Great Location in very run down condition with misleading description .

Villa is very run down, in need of basic maintenance. Bed linen and towels , ancient/grubby/ towels threadbare. Pillowcases with bloodstains. No toilet rolls, no kitchen towel, no basic soaps, no beach towels, no operable safe (all listed as included). Host (bit of a misnomer) told us washing machine was broken...since bedding so grubby had to wash it and we found machine did work. No pool side shade because both parasols were broken, one was complete junk. Sun beds filthy dirty with black staining; other sunbeds just scrap. Barbecue filthy. There are two bikes (teenage children size) but these are in a shed; it took several attempts to fathom out the key and lock to the shed which was in need of replacement; tyres to bike flat. Much of impressive planting about villa in desperate need of pruning (actually very thorny and dangerous). Glazed doors from pool terrace to sea facing terrace cannot be opened..locking mechanisms bent/corroded and seeming smashed by a hammer. Have photographic evidence to corroborate all these comments. Was in dialogue with owner who apologised but was powerless because he lives in Holland. At end of holiday, locally based hosts turned up with very sour faces...looked as if they had been made aware of our comments and observations. Paul, you have been less than honest in your description of the facilities on offer and you said you would amend your Home Away description. This will be too late for us. Had we known about the condition of the property and its facilities we would not have booked it. I will be considering our legal position in the light of the misrepresentation and seeking recompense. It is a great shame that such a great villa, in such a great location has been allowed to get so run down. It is unforgivable to mislead potential renters in the way the property and its facilities are presented.

Thanks for feedback, we always try to improve our villa. We are very sorry that Hugh and his family is disappointed and our villa has not reached their expectations. we hope they enjoyed your holiday anyway. Especially because it was their first time booking with HomeAway. All others renters this season where very happy with our villa. The week Hugh arrived the parasols were broken and couldn’t be replaced in such short notice. I offered help for some other issues, but unfortunately they did not accept it. From that time, they criticized every aspect of our villa. The bikes are normal mountainbikes, usefull in this outer area. Misleading is definately not the case. I advise Hugh if you rent a house again viaHome Away to give the host a call when arriving hours late.

Lovely villa & pool with amazing views all round!!

We spent 2 weeks at this villa with our 6 & 10 yr old and returned a few days ago. It's located in a nice quiet and private location not over looked by other properties. We all loved it and found it a relaxing 2 weeks spending most of our time by the pool during the day and on the patio terrace on and evening enjoying the sea view watching the sun set! Villa is a good size inside we plenty of seating but we rarely inside it other than to sleep or kids eating food out of the sun. Also plenty of seating opportunities outside as well so you can be in the sun if you wish all day. The roof sun terrace has a terrific view and is a good idea, however we never used it due to having 2 young kids and not wanting them to potentially trip and fall over (has no barrier up which would spoil the view and openness of it), ideal for adults to! :) We found the drive from airport to villa was just over an hour as described and has some amazing views when you turn off the main motorway and start the 25 min drive up the mountains. We did the journey up and down quiet a few times as were familiar with the area so revisited some previous places and never got tired of the mountain views ;) Villa had everything inside you would need. Ensuite shower was brilliant (never used the other bathroom) with plenty of pressure. Around a week into the holiday 2 fellas from the local water company walked up to property and asked to show me a leak at the edge of the villa. They spoke no English but we soon establish that water shooting into the air was a burst pipe belonging to villa & they needed to turn water off. I messaged Paul the owner and within a few minutes Paul replied and had booked a plumber. It was fixed shortly afterwards. Considering this is a remote location we were impressed how quick this was resolved! Thanks! Kids enjoyed spotting the lizards throughout the day, 1 particularly around the pool that would let you stroke it. Also keep a look out on an evening around the Patio area, we were startled to see a pretty big Gecko on the wall :) Definitely recommend this Villa and will recommend it to friends. Great villa and the heated pool was fantastic

My daughters were literally in the pool the entire holiday. The heated pool kept us going through some colder weather, highly recommended. The villa itself is very well equipped and in such a peaceful location, all we heard was a lonesome cockerel - best sleep I have had in ages.

Fantastic position

Amazing property- it grew on us as the days rolled on. Paul was always there if there was a question. Lovely places to eat- el recreo, el pompano.... great food and staff very attentive. One negative is that we didn’t find the villa/pool ultra clean when we got there. We kept brushing the outside space so that it was lovely for us. Would return in the future. Thanks Paul

Lovely!

We stayed at the lovely Villa Andalucia in the first two weeks of July 2017. The directions from Malaga airport to the property were very succinct and easy to follow, so much so that our sons found the villa in the middle of the night! The villa is charming, clean and very well appointed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. The BBQ was clean and very good quality. There was an endless supply of towels for our use and a very efficient washing machine in the utility room. (Although we couldn’t find the instructions, it was easy to work out which cycle to use – we opted for the synthetic wash). And the pool……… an absolute delight and so clean. The numerous terraces meant that we could follow the sun round the villa or sit in shade if we wanted somewhere cooler. The views from each terrace are spectacular and the garden abounds with birds and butterflies. The lovely town of Competa is only a short drive away and we went there most days to buy food and wine at the very well stocked supermarkets and then to sit in the charming square to watch the world go by over a glass or two of Competa wine. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wishing to see rural Spain in all its rugged beauty.

Hillside Retreat

Tucked away in the hills below Competa on a good surfaced road, we found the villa as advertised. With great views all around , it is peaceful and secluded. Inside is spacious, well equipped kitchen, though we spent very little time indoors, we made full use of the outside areas, sun or shade in plenty which ever you desire. The shaded terrace was well used, for escaping the heat of the day and many an enjoyable evening dining alfresco big thumbs up by all. And of course not forgetting the pool for a swim, games and a cool down. For the 2 weeks we were here we benefited from a wonderful cooling wind and did not use the aircon. Because of mosquito nets in all but 1 bedroom we slept with the windows open bliss. Most days we ate out at lunch in and around Competa area with a BBQ most nights with wine in hand until the small hours of the morning. We couldn’t of wished for a better two weeks away and are already considering a return visit. Great place, great times, great memories. Gordon & Julie

My wife & I rented this at the last minute and were very happy with our week in the sun. If you want peace and quiet this is the one. I read a novel in 3 days and I am notr a big reader. Located high up in the hills with a view to die for over to the sea in the distance. The outside area is spacious and has plenty of shade as well as sun terrace with several terraces for dining - again in the sun or shade. Internally, the villa has a very well equipped kitchen, dishwasher etc with tabs, cleaning materials, washing machine etc were all there. The lounge / dining is on open plan and very comfortable for several people. Master bedroom has ensuite, and again has plenty of space. Large A/C unit in the lounge could service the whole villa. There are plenty of loungers, even some toys for the pool. The villa is also separated from the pool by the balustrade & gates so would be secure for children Star attraction for me was the BBQ - we even managed to do pizza on it as well as steaks, potatoes etc. Competa is a lovely village with a nice village square where you could sit all day. You will need a car - not a 4x4 though, we had a Nissan Note. All in all I would say that if you are looking for a place in the sun, away from it all then this is the place for you. Would I recommend it to my friends - absolutely. . Mark Taylor
