A beautiful country style oasis stay, this home is uniquely shaped to be considered as a townhouse or duplex with a large gated backyard and deck for entertaining. Located in the downtown area about 1.5 miles to the San Antonio Riverwalk, The Pearl Brewery, AT&T Center, Alamodome, San Antonio Tower, and many more attractions. The duplex/townhouse house is located in the historic district Dignowity Hill neighborhood with a few doggie parks nearby
Fort Sam Houston base is also 1/2 mile close from the house

Great location, host, and home!

My wife and I came for an event at the AT&T center as it was only 2 miles away and it was perfect for this. House was clean and it had parking for two cars. The host recommended a great breakfast place, and was very responsive with any questions we had. We would definitely stay again!

Spring break mini vacation

It was perfect for the both of us. Very clean, and the owners stayed in touch with us letting us know of places to visit. What I loved the most taking the time to let us know about the stormed that was came through to make sure we were safe. Hope to come back and stay agian.

The perfect location

This is a really nice property in the perfect location. It is renovated and haa a fence all around with a gate. The whole neighborhood is in gentrification mode. Every day, we could be in all the great destinations in mere minutes. If I ever gwt the chance to come back to San Antonio, I will try to stay here again.

Spring break in San Antonio

The property was nice and clean. Backyard was great with a raised deck and chairs. It is in a transitional neighborhood by rail yard but it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful while we were there. There were some loose dogs and some unkempt houses in the area.

I loved the environment of this home it was nice and relaxing I really enjoyed my stay Ernest was very welcoming and communicated with me, he was also very understanding when i notified him about my flight coming in earlier than we expected and allowed me to check in before 3 pm.

Wonderfully!

It’s very nice/peaceful/quiet in this place. We went to sea world it’s so awesome! It’s not far from this place about 20 minutes. Also would like to get upgraded for in the kitchen. Thank you for let us stayed in this house. 😊

Awesome!!

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was clean and as described in the listing. Bed was comfy, plenty of pillows and blankets. The host was professional and even allowed us to check in a little early. The neighborhood is up and coming, but we basically didn't see anyone except garbage men who were super friendly. The neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely stay again if needed. Our dog also enjoyed her stay.

San Antonio

The property itself was very clean. The host was nice and understanding. Ok..so there is a gate to the property and it has to be closed at all times. I was unaware that it was actually two properties in one. The front of the property is another rental. The side I was assigned doesn't have a sofa, or a living area at all..just a kitchen table. There also isn't an oven...just two burners and a microwave. The rooms were spacious and the back yard was nice with a sitting area..kitchen which is what you walk into when you come inside was well stocked with cooking supplies..overall a good stay.

Clean, comfortable & good value

Very comfortable place. Although the neighborhood a few blocks away doesn't seem great....this street was tucked away and felt secluded and safe. We wanted to be close to the military base and the Pearl district and downtown and from what I saw, nothing close to the city is all that great. But I felt very comfortable here.

Very nice property

My wife and I stayed for several days with our dog. Nice fenced yards for the pup, very clean and comfortable property, and excellent communications with the host.

Loved it

I really enjoyed my stay and Ernest was such a help making me feel welcomed. Was quick to respond to any questions I had. Also I lost a charm during my stay and Ernest found it and mailed it to me. Didn’t have to go out their way but did. If you need a place to stay when in town I recommend staying here.

Clean, great host, questionable neigborhood

Very clean very small and sharing washer and dryer was a little odd! Host was very helpful and nice however neighborhood is quite questionable not surroundings for children, neighbors have loud chickens and are pretty loud most of the night ! Overall not a terrible stay

Close to all San Antonio downtown attractions!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Rudolph house. It is just 5 minutes from the Alamo, Riverwalk, the Pearl etc. The house is newly remodeled and the fenced in backyard worked great for our dog.

Great spot close to San Antonio locations/activities

Great small house located very close to Riverwalk and Alamodome. Great for a 2-3 day stay. Note that there isn't much of a kitchen, nor many places to eat in the neighborhood, so be prepared to drive outside area for food. All around a great spot though.

Great location and price

Centrally located to Downtown, the Pearl, and the Riverwalk. The backyard with a deck was great to take morning coffee. Owner was responsive and very friendly.

Great location

I stayed for about a month and really enjoyed the renovation of this property. The owner knew what needs to be in a vacation rental. It is a perfect place to enjoy downtown. At the same time staying downtown comes with the downtown lifestyle. The owner is great at communication, and responses to any questions or concerns.
