ĂĂD Whiteface at Jay - Scandinavian Mirror Cabin
A Luxury Glass Cabin Immersed in Nature
Be the first to experience the Adirondack Parkâs first and only ĂĂD mirrored glass cabin, with booking dates available starting in December 2025. Nestled on the edge of a ridge in the middle of a 50-acre hilltop woods in Jay, NY, this modern Scandinavian cabin has three walls of floor-to-ceiling windows and a minimalist design, the space feels open and airy, offering an immersive connection to nature. Mountain views directly to Whiteface Mountain can be seen from every space in the cabin and from the deck and sauna. Â
ĂĂD cabins are designed and built in Estonia, featuring 3 full sides of floor-to-ceiling glass walls. This sleek 220 sq ft prefab glass cabin is wrapped in reflective one-way privacy glass, blending into the pines while offering floor-to-ceiling forest views from inside while maintaining complete privacy. The mirrored glass from the exterior blends the tiny home into its surroundings, with the unique design of the ĂĂD mirror house standing out from all other glamping options, offering a true wow factor. Guests enjoy stunning mirror reflections outside and breathtaking views from inside.  Our acreage offers complete privacy around the cabin with no other buildings in sight. Our ĂĂD cabin is perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking a romantic escape, digital detox, or eco-luxury getaway in the Adirondacks.
Interior space:Â
Heated tile floors and oak-paneled walls, fully equipped kitchenette, king bed, full length blinds for room darkening, and walk in shower and bathroom. 180° forest and mountain views, including direct views of Whiteface. Â
ĂĂD mirror houses are crafted with the highest-quality materials in the industry. The full steel frame and industrial-grade mirror glass ensure unmatched durability. Insulated glass and radiant floor heating keep you warm even on the coldest winter mornings, while the mirrored glass reflects 97% of UV rays, creating a cool, comfortable haven in the hottest desert. With three walls of floor-to-ceiling windows and a minimalist design, the space feels open and airy, offering an immersive connection to nature.
Sauna:
Scandinavian sauna, with forest-facing floor to ceiling glass wall and electric Harvia stove, is located on the deck adjacent to the cabin. It's available year round, with complimentary use of the $35k sauna included in your booking, and exclusively private to cabin guests.
Note: Photos are composite images taken from actual photos of the property and views and actual photos of other existing ĂĂD cabins used as rentals. Interior furnishings will vary slightly. Final site mirrors this unique aesthetic in a serene, wooded setting with mountain views.
Site development work:
This ĂĂD cabin is part of a larger 7-cabin micro-development in phased buildout, with this cabin being the first. There will be signage guiding guests down the extensive network of private driveways leading off to other cabin sites. All cabin sites including this ĂĂD cabin is entirely secluded and visually private, and while at the cabin, you will see no one. The curved driveway ensures complete visual privacy. Over summer 2026 a private trail network is also planned to be marked throughout the property. You will have private access to the cabin, deck, a luxury $35k USD Scandinavian sauna with full glass walls looking out over the forest canopy, and a small yard and clearing with a firepit and grill.
There may be other ongoing site work elsewhere on the property, as this is a phased buildout of a multi-cabin private development. However, you have woods and mountain views 360 degrees around the cabin area and no construction activity is visible from the cabin. There may be construction noise happening during work hours, that you hear through the woods.
