Clean and well located apartment with lots of space for the number of guests. Fun and spacious loft. Kitchen well equiped with pretty much everything to cook a home meal. Tasty Black Cat Pizza place just down the street.

Awesome large b&b great space for a family or a get together of friends. Clean, easy check in, close to downtown. Lots of restaurants, bars and fun family things to do. Or just stay in and enjoy in the cozy loft playing games. Rooms are clean and beds are super comfortable. Thanks for the stay.

The walkability and apartment were great. My only caveat is the noise, there appears to be some shelters and/or halfway houses in the area and there was quite a bit of noise at night.

Whimsical fun two story loft walking distance to everything. Comfortable beds and great kitchen. We appreciated the colours and originality. Great for 3 or 4 people. Parking easy. Arguably somewhat sketchy neighbourhood and the building is in some disrepair. On a very busy street. All said we had a fun time cooking and playing cards. Thank you!

The location is very convenient, close to downtown, close to a grocey store (Sobey 2 min drive) and a nice cafe (Postmaster cafe, 4 min drive). The host was kind and responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Was a perfect place for us to stay for 10 days during the brier! The communication between us and host was fantastic & very helpful when we had trouble with the booking!

The host responded promptly to our inquiries and dealt with issues promptly. The Rustic Loft describes well the apartment. It’s not fancy and it’s located on a very busy road. Overall, the apartment was fine for a week and provided enough space for a family of 6.

The listing presents the property better than it actually is in reality. The cleaner heavily sprayed Febreeze on all bedding before our arrival. This issue was fixed by the owner the same day, which we appreciated. There were also mice droppings throughout the kitchen counter and the dining room floor. These were not there when we arrived, therefore we suspect that there is an active mouse. Overall, the location is good, but on a busy street.

Hi Tomas, you mentioned after checking in that you had an affliction for scented products, our cleaner didn’t have any febreeze used in the unit before hand, however if you had advised we could have used unscented detergent for all fabrics. As for the mouse, I wish you had mentioned this aside from just in the review. After seeing this I have hired an exterminator to have this dealt with, however I could’ve dealt with it sooner. It’s a lovely rustic cottage feel and had everything we needed. Our host was responsive and helpful. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely book again

We are a group of friends attending a church convention in St. John's. We stayed for 6 nights. The property was very close to our convention location so that was a huge benefit. The property is rustic and quite dated with minimal furniture, but it was enough to meet our needs. It comes with all the necessary kitchen appliances, utensils etc so we were able to cook and eat dinner there. If you are looking for a modern, fancy place, this may not be your choice. Tristen, the host, is very helpful. Communication is easy and response is prompt. One thing to note is that this place is definitely not for people who have mobility issues as it is located on an upper floor with a loft and there is no elevator to access the apartment. One suggestion for Tristen: because we all prefer to use the shower, we have to all share the shower in the ensuite. However, the ensuite bathroom does not have a door, so it became quite inconvenient. Maybe a door can be installed in the ensuite bathroom, or a shower be installed over the bath tub in the main bathroom. This, I think, will be an improvement for future guests.Thank you, Tristen, for hosting us!

This place was great. I'd come back, however, it is a little old and outdated and overpriced in my opinion. It might be our fault but we didn't know that this property is shared. The space upstairs is where we stayed on the second floor. Also, there was an amazing loft (3rd floor). It's a gorgeous big And modern on the third floor loft. However no curtains or blinds so you'll be waking up with the sunThe pictures misleaded us as the kitchen and eating areas very small and there's a giant concrete pad where a fireplace once stood.... tripping hazard . (A concrete pad 3.inch up on the floor! There was lots of great amenities, coffee bar features. Everything was super clean, two washrooms one has a tub one's a shower. However no door on that washroom... so bizarre when you're sharing a space for 6 people. I hope these recommendations and honest truth will work for everyone. Like I said we would come back if it was cheaper or updated. Location is great 8/10.. We walked to downtown.

This property is quite dated and a bit tired, it is not fancy but was very clean. The host was excellent, responsive to all inquiries quickly. It was conveniently located to downtown, but beware of the hills to and from! It is also in a neighbourhood with some needs and on a busy road with a hospital nearby.
