The Brightwood House - Family Living in the Heart of DC!

Located in a wonderful neighborhood in upper Northwest side of Washington, DC., this modern home spread over 3 levels, is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including cooking essentials, fresh linens, towels, basic toiletries and locally sourced coffee and tea! Relax and unwind on the beautiful outdoor patio, or enjoy your favorite shows and movies on our smart TV. Whether you’re here for work or leisure, our home is the perfect place for your group to settle in and make lasting memories!



The Space:

Welcome to your entire rowhome retreat in a peaceful, family-oriented DC neighborhood! Beautifully designed and modern throughout, this home offers the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The spacious living room features plenty of seating for your group to gather, unwind, and enjoy your favorite shows or movies. Our fully equipped modern kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, makes it easy to whip up quick meals or enjoy a morning coffee (we provide coffee and tea for your stay!). The lower level of the home includes its own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, ideal for guests who want a bit of extra privacy.

We can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests with the following setup:



-Main bedroom: Queen bed (sleeps 2)

-Second bedroom: Queen bed (sleeps 2)

-Lower-level bedroom: Queen bed (sleeps 2)

-Living room: Sofa bed (sleeps 2, opens into a queen)



Step out onto the open patio to enjoy your morning coffee or simply relax and take in the weather. All bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and travel essentials, including soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.



This home has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay - we look forward to hosting you!

The Neighborhood:

Our home borders Petworth, vibrant and fast-growing area popular with families and young professionals alike. The neighborhood offers the perfect mix of residential charm and convenient access to downtown DC. There’s a true sense of community here, neighbors look out for one another, porch culture is alive and well, and you’ll often see families with strollers and locals walking their dogs.



Explore plenty of great eateries, cafés, and shops along 14th Street, Georgia Avenue, and throughout Petworth such as, Cielo Rojo, San Pacho and much more on the main street.



Petworth offers that rare balance of history, charm, and community - all within easy reach of Downtown DC



Getting Around:

Our neighborhood is full of convenient transportation options! We’re nestled between two metro stations , Georgia Ave - Petworth (about 1 mile away, Green and Yellow lines) and Fort Totten, where you can also access the Red line.



For quick trips downtown, Uber and Lyft are plentiful, and it’s only about a 20-minute drive to the White House. Prefer public transit? There’s a bus stop just one minute from the home with routes that take you directly to Metro Center Station (Red line). From there, you’re only three stops from Union Station, close to major DC landmarks like the U.S. Capitol Building, Smithsonian Museums, and the National Mall.



Several bus lines (70, 79, 52, and 54) run within two blocks of the house, and the S2 or S4 buses can have you standing on the White House steps in about 30 minutes.
