Totally rebuilt front and back porches allow for a great place to view the canal or just hangout. An amazing full wood back patio area, which connects to the docking area, provides plenty of space to have fun during your stay. The house has tile floors throughout, with carpet in the bedrooms. This home comfortably sleeps 12 with its 2 Kings, 2 Full beds, 2 Twin singles, and 2 sleeper sofa setups. Come and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful Holiday Isle area of Destin, FL. I really like the waterway beside the house. Yard needs mowed and weeded. Lots of sand spurs. Kitchen and beds all good. The lawn chairs are rusted and you can cut yourself. The plastic ones aren't very sturdy. Location is great. Not much beach access due to hotel beside access.

Location is prime for beach access! Great area/ neighborhood to stay at. However, the whole vibe of the house was livable for a short amount of time but not very nice. Minimal pots and pans, beds are worn down and not very comfy. Definitely bring shoes/ sandals to walk around the house as the carpets and floors are not well maintained. Beware of critters or animals- during our experience we had a rodent issue getting into our groceries, not sure it’s applicable to any other experiences. The beach is wonderful and quiet! We had a great time in spite of what was mentioned above.

Family Vacation

The house has some age on it. But what I liked it had a great a/c unit it kept the house nice and cool during those hot days. The only real problem was there was no shower curtains in the up stair bathroom's and no curtain at the windows. Had a great time.

Spacious and great location

The property gave our group of 5 plenty of space to sprawl out. The back deck was a great hangout spot that over looked the canal. The location was perfect and within driving distance of most sights and the beach was close as well.

Place was great!

Stayed for 5 days. The house was in perfect condition. Neighborhood is calm and quiet. Super quick 5-6 min walk to beach access. The kids loved this spot!!

Annual Crab Island Trip

The property is a perfect location for docking the boat and heading out through the Harbor to Crab Island. Upon arrival the inside of the house was clean however the yard was littered with beer cans and trash. The outside trash cans were overflowing and not taken to the curb. We cleaned things up and enjoyed the rest of the weekend. The house is big and roomy. An older home that needs a little TLC but worked for our group.

Perfect!!

We bring our boat to Destin a couple times a year and this rental was amazing. Location was great, dock was brand new, house was clean, and the management was responsive!! The A/C upstairs froze and they have someone there within the hour. The trash was full from the previous renters but that was the only issue we ran into. Beds were comfy and the house looked even better in person. We will for sure be back!!

My back porch Review

The goods; The neighborhood was nice and very quite. The location was amazing for accessing Destin harbor and crab island. Many stores close by also. The back porch and entire dock is brand new. The bed tooms were bigger than expected. The boat dock fit my 23’ center console perfectly and even had bumper fenders installed. The floating jet ski dock took just a few trail and error attempts then turned out to be a great feature. The dock had a wash down hose which was very convenient. The propane bbq pit worked well. On our last day We wanted to extend our trip by one. I simply email them and got Reply back in less than an hour that it was availble. Worked out great. The bad; Electricity (lights,fan,outlets) in one bedroom/closet and closet in adjacent room did not work. The house was poorly cleaned. All trash cans had prior guest trash. Beds were unmade and sheets were not washed. Washer had wet towels in it. Wet towelS hanging in bathroom and back porch. Empty rolls of toilet paper left in Each bathroom. Was nice to see an electrical cord ran to the boat dock to recharge as needed however, the cord had no power. The other end was inside a locked garage. Had to run my own extension cord. The wash down hose on the dock was great but the threaded end was cut off. I was not able to flush my motor due to this. I will end with saying we had an absolutely amazing time on our trip and the location of this rental 100% contributed to that. The goods largely outnumbered the bads. I will certainly stay at this location again.

There was trash everywhere. In yard an in house. Grass was horrible. Location was good. Why pay a cleaning fee when it wasn't cleaned.

Great for boating!

Roomy house with easy access to your own boat slip. Short ride from all the best spots on the water. Friendly neighbors and good accommodations. Had just been remodeled so there was a small amount of construction trash leftover, but no big deal.
