5BR4BA|NearBeach|Resort Style Spacious Pool!

"I Love Vacation" is a spacious, nautical themed house that was extensively updated in December 2020. Perfect for families, the house sits pool front in the Villages of Crystal Beach. A Key West inspired resort-like community featuring a lagoon-style zero-entry pool, hot tub, seasonal free shuttle to the beach, and a volleyball court.

The first floor of the house has a large, open living area with a 65" HDTV. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room table seats 8 guests, with four more seats available at the kitchen counter. Just off the kitchen, you'll find the laundry room with a brand new washer and dryer and a second refrigerator/freezer. The bedroom at the back of the first floor has a king bed and is right next to the first floor bathroom equipped with a tub/shower combo.

The second floor features a spacious master suite that opens up to the balcony overlooking the pool. This room has a king bed, wet bar and an en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub and a separate shower. Also on the second floor is a bedroom with a king bed and en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Continuing up to the third floor, you'll find another bedroom with two queen beds and the bunk room with four twin beds. The third floor living room features a 4K HDTV, sleeper sofa, wet bar, and leads you to another balcony overlooking the pool.

The house has new mattresses in every bedroom (mostly Beautyrest & Sealy), new bath and kitchen linens, and new kitchen accessories. LED Smart TVs are located in every bedroom and both living areas. We invite you to take advantage of our high-speed Wi-Fi for working remotely or learning virtually.

Enjoy the neighborhood amenities, walk to the beach, or find entertainment, dining, and shopping within walking distance of the neighborhood. The lagoon-style pool has a zero entry section that is great for small children. The pool is heated during Spring Break (March 1 - April 17), Thanksgiving (November 21-28), and Christmas/New Years (December 19 - January 2). There is a free shuttle that runs to and from the beach during Spring Break and Summer.

Perfect headquarters for a large family vacation

We were in town for the weekend for a destination wedding, and with four sisters, our mom, and multiple kids, it was important to have a place to fit our individual families comfortably. This place was perfect!! The king beds in almost every room and attached bathrooms made this property perfect for our “headquarters” for a busy weekend. The only difficulty was finding parking for all our cars, but we made it work. Highly recommend!!

Fall break

It is a wonderful place to stay and my family had a great time. Right beside the large pool and the house itself was so nice. Only thing that stopped it from getting 5 stars is it is not as close to the beach as I thought. We did find a place to park so we could drive some of our family and some walked. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Location is perfect! 10 min walk to the beach. The house had a wagon which made it super easy! Pool is right outside the door. The house was very family friendly! The 3 stories made it super easy for everyone! Would book again!

Great Family Getaway Spot

We loved our stay in this spacious, well- maintained and updated home. The location was great being right across from the large pool and hot tub and was also close enough to walk to the beach (10-12 min) with the beach wagon that was included. The kitchen was very well stocked. The third floor allowed for an extra living space for the kids to hang out. The balconies were a great spot to enjoy morning coffee or a meal. We appreciated the close proximity of grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. The only drawback was the rowdyness of a few college groups, but the staff were quick to step in if needed. This is our first time visiting Destin and the beauty of the clear blue ocean water, soft white sand and clean beaches exceeded our expectations!

Wonderful Getaway

The house was beautiful and exactly what we needed! There were plenty of spaces to hangout and both decks were perfect for relaxing in morning and evenings. There are many stairs that are rather steep and a couple of our guests fell up or down a few during our stay but not injured. The pool was wonderful and so close which was nice. Finding the shuttle for the beach was difficult at first and we didn’t realize until our stay was over there was a closer beach access. The hosts were excellent at responding to questions during our stay!

Highly recommend

Perfect location as you are a 5 minute walk away from the beach. You’re a quick drive to Henderson Park. House was clean and well equipped with everything you need. If needed for anything, the homeowner is quick to communicate with you. The community pool across from the house is amazing. I loved the fact that it is in a gated community and close to shopping. The only downside - our time had to end and we had to get back to daily life.

Wonderful stay

The house was great. Very clean and great location right across from the pool. We had 3 families of 4 and had plenty of room. It was great the kids could have the 3rd floor to themselves. Kitchen has everything you need. Communication with Jessica was awesome and she was super responsive. We had one minor issue that needed attention and they had someone over to take care of it within an hour. Would definitely stay again.

It was easy to find and get in. House is very nice. Master bedframe was broke, but we made it work. Pool had an employee that wouldn't let you hold your drink in the pool and continued to inform people of the rules. Shuttle was very fast and friendly.

Great house, beach, and community!

We were a little worried after reading some of the reviews about how strict the rules can be when staying here, but I'm assuming that was all in the past because we had no issues at all during our trip. There are rules for the pool area, but we never saw any employee strictly enforcing them. The parking can be a little tight, but we understood that before we booked. Overall, everyone in our family of 14 had a great time staying here. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but they do provide free transportation for you to the public access location during certain times of the day. The beach itself was amazing, and we lucked out with great weather most of the time there. Jessica was very easy to get in touch with and responded right away with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone with a big family looking to have a good time in Destin!

3 and a Half Stars

If I could give this house 3 1/2 stars, I would. The layout was good for 6 adults and 5 kids. The kids had a great space on the third floor with a bunk room, queen bedroom, common area and bathroom. The three king bedrooms were all fine except two of the mattresses were uncomfortable. Sheets were thin and no extra blankets. The house was a little dated and not well equipped. No cooking oil, salt, pepper, spices, etc. like in many other VRBOs. There was one extra roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, no foil, plastic wrap, or Kleenex. They supplied TWO packets of dishwasher soap for 11 people for five days.It was really bare bones. One night, we decided to grill. The grill was caked and filthy. There was an almost empty propane tank attached plus an empty tank on the side. I called the manager to say that we probably needed more propane and was told to "go to Lowe's and buy a full tank." She said that info was stated in the email she sent. If they provide a grill, then they should provide some reliable propane.If you stay here, note that you need to call to arrange the shuttle to Crystal Beach. I found out on the last day. Didn't see that in the email. Overall, the owners could have done more to make it a nicer unit for the money.

Great Home For Our Family Reunion

The property was perfect for our family reunion (6 adults ((had hoped for 8)) and 2 kids). Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, and having the third floor kid friendly was perfect. The kitchen was large with plenty of seating space. We didn't need it, but there was an extra refrigerator in the laundry room, which could come in handy with an even larger family there. There was a TV in every bedroom including the third floor family area. And the balconies were very nice--morning sun outside of those. The location is very close to the pool, which the kids loved. We were there in April so it was not crowded at all, however, I can see how during the summer season with all the surrounding properties, the pool could get very crowded. The location was also close to restaurants, things to do--Gulfarium, bowling, miniature golf, kid attractions, shopping. Unfortunately, the Big Kahuna Water Park did not open until Memorial Day, but it looked amazing. A bit of a walk to the beach but we managed with one driver dropping us off then walking back to join us. There is street parking near the beach but filled up. Again, April is off-season and we had plenty of space at the roped off public areas of the beach, but again, during peak season I could see that filling up, so my advice is to get to the beach EARLY. Overall, a great property!

Thanks so much Jessica! Everything was wonderful. The space was so clean and organized, the beds were very comfortable, all kitchen supplies were there and labeled and there was even a second fridge. Everything was thought of! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, the beach is super close with amazing white sand beaches, a fun crab restaurant right on the beach and the best sunsets! We met a lot of fun people at the lagoon pool and got a lot of the recommendations from them! The two two being Bochamps restaurant with live music, outdoor seating, great views, a beach play area for the kids and awesome food. Also we were told we had to rent a boat and go to crab island and that was the highlight of the trip! We rented a pontoon with a slide and played in the water with many water toys on our last day of the trip! We can’t want to come back!

Highly recommend.....

My Family and I stood at Jessica's house and it was an amazing experience. Jessica was very responsive and literally thought of everything to have available in the home so that we can feel comfortable. Everything from beach toys, towels, play pen etc... The house was very clean, spacious and is located in a great area where you are just minutes from the beach and restaurants. We will definitely go back to this home!
