Secluded comfort

Great weekend!

My wife and i came to Warren to participate in the Spartan race at the off road park 20 minutes away. We had an excellent time here and the jacuzzi was perfect for massaging our tired bodies. We wanted something off the beaten path but still close enough to everything as well. Check in was amazing and communication with the host was quick and responsive. If you decide to eat out we recommend Pizza Joes it only 10 minutes down the road and a hreat local pizzaria!

Perfect little spot!

2nd time staying here, such a convenient place that is located about 15 minutes from Ledges. Love the jacuzzi tub after a long day being at the Quarry in the sun. Communication with host was wonderful also!!!

If you’re looking for quiet then this is the place for you. Lovely little apartment just right for a couple or someone looking for some quiet time alone. Easy drive to get to where you want to go in the area with plenty of privacy. Really enjoyed my two nights here and would stay again when back in the area

Perfect weekend stay

Rented this for the weekend for a music festival at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park and this was super convenient to get back and forth from the park (about 15 minutes away and almost a straight shot!) The jacuzzi tub was an added bonus after 2 days of being on our feet in the hot sun.

Loved it

It’s a functional one bedroom on a farm in a carved out area of a barn. The family who owns the farm are super nice people and their youngest daughter has the best smile. I would stay there again if I needed a place in the area. I will contact the property owner if I need a contractor as he’s a really good person. 10 out of 10

Quiet get away

This place was quiet and clean. Everything was as advertised. The only issue was the owner did not give us the check in information until several hours after check in. He did apologize for that.

power went out because of storms and they wasted no time helping us. First reaching out then bringing in a generator. 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend. Jacuzzi in the bedroom with a beautiful backsplash

Great location in the center of Trumbull County

We stayed last year in the upstairs apartment at this location and were very pleased. That apartment was booked this time, so we stayed in the downstairs apartment. The downstairs apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We did not make use of the giant tub so I cannot speak to that. The Netflix had been signed out of, so when we contacted the owner he quickly supplied us with the login information. Shower water pressure was quite nice with a dual showerhead and large walk-in shower. One thing that was unexpected from the photos was the utility room that is central to the other rooms in the apartment. To get from the living/dining to both the bathroom and the bedroom you must travel through the utility room. It is nicely done, but a utility room all the same. You hear the water and heating systems making their noises all night, so if you are a light sleeper just be aware that you will hear the sounds. Overall, a nice place to stay near our family.

Nice place to stay but poor communication...

The country setting was awesome, the rooms were neat and well decorated. But the communication was poor, before I booked the room, I asked if this was located on the first or second floor with no response. It was located on the first, so when the guest on 2nd floor walked around you could hear them, it was no big deal, just like at home. When I checked out, I left a message and even tried to call the phone # on the instruction sheet in the living room/kitchen area. There was an issue I wanted to relay to them with no response. The issue wasn't major but could be the reason for another review (sewer smell) I read prior to staying. There appears to be an open PVC sanitary vent in the utility room, which could be resolved possibly with a plumbing auto vent. I would have given a 5 out of 5 stars but the communication is bad...

Perfect Solo Getaway!

Last year I rented the upstairs unit for a weekend getaway by myself. A time to rest & recharge without the demands of kids, husband, pets, barn chores & household chores. I was so satisfied with my experience that I decided to return and do it again this year! This time I chose to try this downstairs unit with the jacuzzi tub. And everything was just as perfect as last year! The place was spotlessly clean, stocked well with anything I may have needed during my stay and is so adorably decorated! The jacuzzi tub area is in the bedroom and so nicely done! The added rope lighting along the ceiling was a nice soothing touch of relaxation. After filling the tub & getting in, I was, however, a little disappointed to find the whirlpool jets didn't come on. The button didn't work. HOWEVER, when I brought it to the host's attention the next day, she was VERY quick to reply & offered to come take a look at it. I declined, because it wasn't all that big of a deal to me and I was just happy to get a nice long soak in a roomy warm tub without interruption! It was such a peaceful & relaxing stay, I do believe I will be making this a yearly tradition! Thank you!!

Nightmare.... horrible.... be careful

This is the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life on a property. I am an actress, a model and a world traveler. We rented this property because I had a gig nearby. There was absolutely no hot water. It didn't work, and the owner was unable to fix it. We had the deadbolt locked but at 8:30 AM our bedroom door opened AND SOME STRANGE MAN LOOKED IN!!!!!!! I was horrified we ended up just getting dressed, and leaving the property. I was unable to take a shower and I was unable to get a refund. I'm not sure if a PAST TENANT has access to this property and is creeping around, but I would never ever visit again. And if it is the owner who peeked in in the morning, we should have been notified someone would enter the property. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior. Beware........
