Papa Bear's Pickleball Cabin!

One of a kind in Bear Lake, our custom cabin is made of hand scribed logs and sits at the top of a rise on two lots across from the Sweetwater Golf Course clubhouse with an amazing view of the lake.

Room 1: Master bedroom is on the upstairs level with its own bathroom (featuring a jumbo jetted tub), walk in closet, comfortable king-size bed, outdoor balcony to enjoy lake views, flat screen TV, DVD player and desk if you need a workspace.

Room 2: On main level. Comfy king sized bed, dresser, closet, flat screen TV, DVD player and two large windows to enjoy Bear Lake Views!

Room 3: Exactly the same as Room 2 with a comfy king sized bed, dresser, closet, flat screen TV, DVD player and two large windows to enjoy Bear Lake Views!

Room 4: Lower level with a comfy queen sized bed, dresser and a portable crib.

Room 5: Lower level with 2 bunk beds - perfect size for 4 kids to bunk together!

There are also 3 sleeper sofas - one in the master / queen size; upper loft area / full size; and one in the lower family room / queen size.

Kitchen: Fully-stocked with all you need to whip up your own meals. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and microwave popcorn included.

Downstairs Family Room: Huge wraparound sectional, 65" flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, fireplace stand, a variety of games and a ping pong table to offer hours of fun and friendly competition.

Deck: New Weber grill and two picnic tables to enjoy those evening sunsets.

Additional amenities: There is an outdoor fire-pit for your evening s'mores, your own private Pickleball court of course, a Lifetime Adventure Tower play set for the kiddos, large hot tub, corn hole set, indoor ping pong, puzzles and games and everything you need for the beach!

Great family vacation cabin

We had a wonderful stay at Papa Bear’s Pickleball Cabin! The cabin and yard was clean and comfortable with many amenities for all. It was well stocked and furnished with considerable attention to detail. Our host, Kathryn, was wonderful to work with! She was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We highly recommend this amazing property for your Bear Lake trip.

Everything you need for a great stay

The fully furnished property made us feel right at home and then some. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. We also used the beach gear and outdoor games. The kitchen was fully furnished and the cupboard labels made it easy to find things. We had a great stay.

Great family vacation

We had a great time! The cabin was extremely clean and was even better than the pictures. It was well stocked and had so many amenities for all ages. We especially loved the pickle ball court and play ground. And it was very close to the lake. We highly recommend this beautiful property!

Great Family Stay

We had a family of 14 with ages 3-13. There were so many things to keep the kids busy and entertained, from crafts to sporting goods. The location was great especially with the access to the Ideal Beach Resort. The property was as described and offered everything we needed for our 4 days together.

This is a beautiful cabin. Lots of fun things to do. We loved the pickleball court and playground. The hot tub was awesome, the house was very cleans and had everything you might need. Great appliances. The teens loved the downstairs movies. Kids loved the toys inside and out. We had adults, teens and small children and everyone had something to do. Will definitely be back!

The best of everything!

This cabin was so much fun! Plenty for the kids to do and everyone enjoyed the pickleball court. Located close to the golf course. The cabin was clean and well shocked with kitchen necessities. The layout was great for giving multiple families plenty of space and privacy. Loved everything about this cabin!

Awesome Place

This place was perfect for our group. There were so many things to do, for the little kids, the teens, and for the adults. The kitchen was well stocked and labeled. The sport court was perfect for all ages, the hot tub was clean and roomy. It was perfect for watching the meteor shower. The bedrooms were large and nicely furnished. We would definitely stay here again.

First Family Reunion to Bear Lake

This property is great. There is plenty of room and plenty for everyone to do; also very close to great beaches. The host was excellent to work with and they focused on little details that make a big difference, such as fire pit with firewood and chairs; toys for the kids, soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the showers; great BBQ grill. My grandkids did not want to leave.

Perfect Family Cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at this Bear Lake cabin! From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were visiting a family cabin—not just a rental. The house was stocked with everything we needed, from the kitchen essentials to cozy extras throughout the home. The outdoor setup was perfect for our group—we spent time playing corn hole, shooting hoops, sitting in the hot tub in the evenings and stargazing, and watching our granddaughter enjoy the little playground. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, but still just a short drive to town and the lake. The views were beautiful, and the host was kind and super responsive. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Big Love for Papa Bear's Cabin

Our family came in from 4 different states to have a Thanksgiving weekend together at Papa Bears Cabin. We brought a roaster for the turkey, but everything else was available at the house including a crockpot, lovely serve ware, pots and pans and bandaids. Other surprises included a huge harvest moon and deer wandering past the cabin in the evening. When my daughter accidentally left her wedding dress in the closet, the owners noticed and immediately shipped it to her which was a huge blessing! Thank you soooo much! We would love to rent it again, in the summertime, so we could sit on the patio with the sparkling lights and use all of the amenities that were available for fun at the lake. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house with our family. Everyone kept mentioning how wonderful it was because it truly felt like home. Thank you!

A fun family getaway

We had so much fun at Papa Bear cabin with our extended family. The cabin was spacious, clean, and in a great location close to the beach and to the shops down town. The neighborhood is quiet. The property is well maintained and had so many fun amenities, it was great for all ages. The outdoor sports court and hot tub were a big hit with our group, and the little kids played for hours on the playground and with the fun motorized vehicles. The cabin is well stocked in the kitchen with all the supplies we needed there and with plenty of towels and toilet paper for the guest to use. the owners have included all the necessities to go to the lake like beach towels, camp chairs, sand toys and beach bags. The owners were so easy to work with, great at communication and available to talk to when we had questions. We made so many great family memories there and will be excited to stay again next year.
