Host was very responsive to a few issues. Overall great place. Not ideal having to park on the street and sometimes had to park 2 blocks away but that seems to be the norm all over Seattle. Great walking only one block to Safeway grocery store.

Fantastic location and great property ! The check in process was smooth and communication with the host was excellent. Beds were very comfortable, televisions easy to operate and had streaming options, and the coffee station was an added bonus!

Location was good. Kitchen was nice. Beds were comfy. The weather was nice so we sat on the rooftop but the covered furniture had large pools of water that had to be drained off. The walls could use a new coat of paint and the carpet needs a good shampoo.

When we go to the property, we noticed the electric blinds in the master bedroom had come loose and could not be opened, so I took pictures and sent them to the host who promised the get them fixed. We stayed there for five days and nothing was done so the full time that we were there we could not use the bedroom as a place to hang out and rest during the day, as you do not want to be behind blackout curtains when using the room for that purpose.Then we applied a couple of hours added to the early 10AM check out on which the host replied to my email confirming 12 noon is OK, by stating "Wonderful! - !hanks again". When the cleaning lady arrived at 10AM he twisted his response to have meant that he had only agreed to see if it was possible, which he had not done either as there had been no further communication. If he had tried to arrange and it would have not been possible surely he should have communicated that instead of a lady showing up unannounced when we were still in the midst of packing. When we left before noon he then emailed to say he will charge us hundreds of dollars as late penalty fees for the less than two hour period in question.The sad thing with this host is that he fails to do what we promises and then takes an extreme position and instead of rationally finding compromises he has a need for everyone to succumb to his absolute will, which is not a great approach given he is in the hospitality business.

Regarding the blinds, we attempted to schedule a specialist repair during your stay, but technician availability prevented a resolution prior to your check-out. Regarding check-out, our standard time is 10:00 AM as stated in our listing and house rules. Extensions require explicit confirmation so our cleaning team can adjust their schedule. Late fees are applied strictly according to our posted policies when turnover schedules are delayed. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best.

Fun Ballard Stay

We came to town for a show at the Tractor in Ballard and the property was perfect for our weekend getaway! Clean, comfortable and great location. Host was easy to communicate with and very nice!

Visit Ballard the Right Way

This is a beautiful home and right in the heart of Ballard, Seattle. Everything is walkable and the area nearby is very safe and clean. The house was amazing, very clean and spacious for a long stay.

Great location just a few blocks from breweries and downtown Ballard with lots of shops and restaurants. Also very close to Safeway and Walgreens. The unit was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed- the provided espresso pods and ground coffee were a nice touch! Fyi, we didn't realize but the 2 bedrooms and the kitchen/living room area are all on different levels in the townhome. Host was responsive and helpful. Thanks for a nice stay!

Private Ballard stay

Usually stay at Ballard hotel on business but it was booked. This was a welcome alternative. Would definitely recommend.

Fitting in a wonderful neighborhood

Situated and appropriate in the Ballard neighborhood. The appointments and amenities are thoughtful and plenty. Wonderful Hotel towels. The roof terrace was a nice surprise. It was a quick and wonderful stay. Well done.
