Great private mountain property close proximity to Boone, West Jefferson, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Buck Mountain amenities include an abundance of nature trails, fish pond, water fall, mountain bike riding. Views of the parkway. Vineyards close by as well as Kerr Scott Lake. Easy access to Merle Fest and North Wilkesboro Speedway.

The cabin is nestled in the hidden gem of Buck Mountain but easily accessed. Wooden ambiance and with gas logs stove and surrounded by nature makes it a quiet and peaceful get away surrounded by native mountain laurel.

This cute little cabin sits back in a wooded area. The big screened in porch was nice sitting without all the bugs. We opened the door to a spotless and I mean spotless cabin. We had stopped to pick up a few essentials (coffee & creamer) but I had no idea what filter to buy so I was appreciative the host had some along with other items for guest to use. The bedrooms were comfortable and we liked how we each had a tv along with a charging station for our phones and watches (I bought one as soon as I got home). The host messaged a few times during our stay which was nice to know they cared how our stay was going. I highly recommend exploring Buck Mtn, Rendezvous Mtn & Grandfather Mtn each spectacular. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely stay again!

Was a perfect cabin for our stay during the Faith Festival. I only regret not bringing some fishing poles for the pond that is not too far away. We could see it had a lot of fish. Definitely would stay here again.

Awesome Hidden Gem!

We needed a place to stay for a wedding, so we decided to try our first Vrbo. We absolutely loved it and hope to return soon when we have more down time to enjoy the cabin. The waterfall was awesome! We loved discovering Buck Mountain!

Terrific location

We absolutely loved this cabin in the woods! It reminded us of home, being that we're from the country. I do want to say that the drive up the mountain is very windy with steep drop offs. Be sure to follow the posted speed limit at all times. But the cabin and location are so worth it! The screened in front porch was our oasis every chance we got. The leaves were in fully so the distant view was hindered, but the peace and tranquility was amazing. Definitely recommend this cabin, especially if you're looking to get away from it all.

Lovely & comfortable mountain cabin nestled among the trees!

We enjoyed three restful nights in this very clean, beautifully appointed and easily accessible cabin while attending MerleFest in nearby Wilkesboro. My only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to explore the surrounding area of Buck Mountain (we were there for the music after all), and highly recommend this place! The spacious screened porch was a special favorite: 19 species of birds identified (via Merlin app) on our first morning as we prepared to set out for the day.

A great stay.

It was really easy to access the house and there was a really great write up as far as what was expected and how to perform the actions. I was initially hoping for a snowy winter vacation but after I arrived I was grateful it wasn't snowy or icy because the driveway was steep.

Wonderful cabin

This was a great place to go to enjoy nature and have a peaceful getaway - and it was very easy to get to. The screened in porch was awesome for sitting outside and enjoying the outdoors without bugs all over. Great place and highly recommend!

Mountain Refresher

My husband wanted a weekend fishing trip and I agreed to accompany him, but with the understanding that I may hang at the cabin and read! This place was perfect! Better than the pictures and had everything we needed for a low key weekend. Buck Mountain is a beautiful community with lots of privacy as well as trails!

Quick getaway

The place was great. Spent a day exploring Boone and Blowing Rock. Weather was nice, not too cold but a little rainy. Would definitely recommend. Theresa was very responsive.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

We absolutely love this cabin. This is our second time staying here. The location is perfect. It is halfway between Boone and Wilksboro, so convenient to everything yet you can sit in peace on the back porch and watch the deer. The owners are super responsive. We requested a mirror after our last stay and showed up to a beautiful new mirror for this stay. Super accommodating!! The cabin itself is a perfect cabin in the woods. It is cozy with everything you need. We will definitely be back.
