Lead me to Adventure in the Heart of the Black Hills

Let us Lead you to Adventure in this fully furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo in the beautiful Black Hills. Sleeps up to 6 and is perfect for those looking for a relaxing getaway. We welcome all but NO PETS please. Get your adventure on at the nearby Mickelson trail, the 3,000+ miles of ATV trails with access in every direction, and minutes from Historic Deadwood, Terry Peak Ski Area, Spearfish Canyon and Sturgis. Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park are within driving distance.

Our 900 sq ft open concept living space is home to private/hi-speed/secure WiFi, a walkout deck with two bedrooms (1Q, 1K Sleep Number), one bathroom, and is fully furnished with linens, smart TVs, full length mirrors, a queen size air mattress and Pack-N-Play. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen and a large eat-in counter. We provide S&P, cooking spray and oil. The bathroom is stocked with towels, hair dryer, TP, tissues & hand soap.

Our condo is a third floor unit with NO ELEVATOR. There is ONE dedicated parking space near a walking ramp that leads to the second floor. If using the ramp, there is only one set of stairs to climb.

Smoking is permitted on the patio with table and chairs just up the walking ramp. No smoking is allowed in our unit or on the private attached deck. We welcome any questions ahead of & during your stay.

1. Several units in the condo are permanent residences, and we appreciate your adherence to all rules.
2. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Please be courteous and keep the noise to a minimum.
3. Please dispose of all trash in the large dumpster located on the west side of the building. Please do not leave trash in the common areas, hallways or smaller trash cans near the entrances to the building.
4. Please only park in our unit’s designated parking spot or the visitor spots as identified by the signs. Each unit has one assigned spot.
5. Please only smoke in the designated area. There is no smoking in the building, the unit, or the private patios at any time. We also ask that you refrain from illegal activities and recognize that any illegal drug use will not be tolerated.
6. Trailer parking on city streets or city parking lots is not allowed, except for the short period of off-loading and on-loading vehicles, supplies, or equipment. Please reach out if you have questions regarding trailer parking.

There were activities left to use for entertainment, the guide for things to do in the area was really nice and having places to go out and eat in walking distance was also nice. The host are also amazing and fast with communication.

Great family trip

Stayed with my family for a long weekend of skiing. The location was perfect and less than 10 minutes from the ski lodge. The building was well maintained and quiet and the condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was very clean and quiet. Had hoped for a nice view from the deck but it was just a brick wall with scrubs and a road and homes above. There is little to do in Lead and restaurants are minimal but it was a good location between the sites we wanted to visit. Overall ok

A lovely retreat!

The condo in Lead was a very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable home base for exploring the northern Black Hills! The owners were very communicative and gracious, responding quickly to questions or requests. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it as a wonderful place to stay!

Lead vacation

Property is in a great location, an hour or more to most destinations. Parking at the place is a little nuts but chatted with a couple residents who are petitioning to change that. Place was just as describes we loved it.

Location was perfect for what we planned to do. It’s exactly as stated. This is the first time I didn’t need much of my “cleaning bag”contents. A great stay for a great price.

This stay was easy and very clean. It is in an apartment building that upon arrival had people outside smoking, however once inside the apartment there was absolutely no smoking smell. I will book again if needed. It is extremely close to Deadwood. It is a nice apartment.

Absolutely love our stay and would recommend it to friends and family! Our host made it feel like HOME full of love. The facility is fully stocked with kitchen amenities, comfy beds and very roomy rooms w/walk-in closets. If you have any questions or concerns, you’ll get a very quick response from the host.

Very clean and comfortable. Was disappointed in the location. Description said it is a short drive to Mount Rushmore, Custer state park. It is actually over an hour away from those attractions.

Pleasant Stay in Lead, SD

Our accommodation was just what we needed. Cassie and John provided everything we needed including such minor things as baggies for sandwiches. They responded amazingly promptly when we had a problem with the lock on he door. The beds are rather high so this might not work if you are a short person and it is on the third floor so you will have to carry you things up two flights but if those are not issues for you, it is a great place to stay and reasonably priced.

Awesome Experience

We had a great time while utilizing your unit like it was our own. Climbing up 3 floors was a bit challenging for us senior citizens but well worth the rewards. We didn’t expect to have so many details, which involved items within the kitchen, that could be utilized. These items allowed us to limit our kitchen needs while cooking in the kitchen or cooking out on the deck while utilizing the personal gas grille. We will pass your unit onto all of our friends traveling out West to visit around the Black Hills National Forest Area. Thanks again for allowing us to stay!

Sturgis trip

Came out here for motorcycle rally in Sturgis. The property was very clean, beds are super comfortable. The condo was very nice and well stocked with things you would need. Communication with the owners was pleasant and easy. Had three motorcycles and for in the parking area just fine. The area is conveniently located to Deadwood, Sturgis and other sight seeing areas such as Mt. Rushmore. It’s a drive to place like Rushmore but the area isn’t just completely out of the way. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again in the future and would recommend staying here.

Home away from home

Walking into this apartment was a welcome surprise. The owners provide quality household items. The apartment was well cleaned, well stocked with the basics, and extremely comfortable. The only thing other renters may need to know, is we did not see an elevator and this apartment is on the third floor. We may have missed the elevator so inquire about that if that is a need for your family- it was not an issue for us. We hope to return year after year!

Clean and fully stocked condo for all your needs away from home

We enjoyed a relaxing and fun 3 nights! The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything needed for our stay as family of 5 with 3 kids. Great location to see this side of the state. No concerns and would stay again!

Perfect location to explore the black hills

Great rental for 2 couples in the middle of the black hills. Very clean condo, comfortable beds and great place to stay. The owners were very responsive. Would definitely use this location again if we return to the area.

Wonderful Lead Condo

The condo was perfect for our family of 5! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the 3 TVs, wifi, extra blankets, kitchen supplies, 2 walk-in closets and more. It was such a great location for skiing and spending time in Deadwood. We will definitely stay here again!
