A spacious house even better than advertised. Clean, welcoming, well-stocked, with a small "second" kitchen (sink and mini-fridge) in the extra room that was great for dog feeding. There's even a couch cover for pets! Curvy road from Saltville uphill to uphill driveway not a problem for our hybrid sedan. Views views views.

Great place to get away!!

The farm was a great place to get away and relax. The views were great and the sunsets were amazing! It was convenient to several great hikes. The owners were also great to communicate with.

Great place, great location

Perfect getaway. We also worked a lot during it, and the internet signal was strong enough to do Zoom meetings and otherwise connect to the internet to do work. Highly recommend this place for families.

Beautiful property

Our group loved staying at this beautiful farm. The views were stunning, and the home itself was so beautiful and was able to fit all of us that were staying together for a family reunion. We only wished we could have stayed longer! It's a peaceful spot with all the amenities we needed!

Perfect Escape

The property is absolutely delightful. Love the views, love the fire pit, house is super cozy. Wifi is almost nonexistent so prepare your group ahead of time so there are the right expectations. Host are very accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Get Away!

We were looking for a quick weekend get away so the kids could see the snow this year. This farm house was amazing and everything we could have imagined. Beautiful mountainside views, many hills to sled on, a warm fire, hot cocoa and smores. Even the dog had a great time roaming the snowy hills and chasing the kids around the mountain.

Incredible views

Incredible mountain views. Plenty of room to run around and hike. House with just about anything you could need in a home away from home. Owners responsive to messages. Wifi is not great, but who needs it when there is so much to do outside! You won't regret staying here!

Holiday away

This farmhouse was everything we hoped for and more. It has everything you need for a family get together- well stocked kitchen, plenty of places for people to sleep, comfy chairs and blankets. The sauna was amazing! We loved that there was a tv in the basement but no where else. To top it off, the views were amazing. Loved this place and we all want to come back again soon!!

Husband, Uncle, Father of two and Brother. Although I didn't live here growing up, I was taught some of life's most important lessons on nearby Farms from my Father's Brothers and Sister. The value of Family and of hard work. From a struggling adolescent to an accomplished Business man, to this day, these lessons have been the driving force in my life and I hope to pass them along to my children.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Very sentimental place for me and my family. My Father and his immediate family grew up on a near by Farm and lived hard on these lands. We were fortunate enough to buy the Farm in 2013 when Mrs. Roberts passed and had no next of kin to will to. Although there was a TON of work to do, it has become a center for my family to return home. My father was killed in an accident in 2009, so its even more meaningful for my sister and I to bring our families close together and stay connected to our/his family. We couldn't have done it without the help of our uncles and aunt (and their children) who most are nearby and are always there to lend a hand. For that we are grateful! No matter how far we go in this world, we visit frequently to stay connected to my family and always remember where we came from. We hope you will experience the same love for the property and feel the love that surrounds the place. You can also visit us at Spencevillefarms.com for more information about our property.
